We're looking for an FP&A and Revenue Operations Lead who combines financial acumen, operational excellence, and systems thinking. As Lago's first Finance and RevOps hire, you'll build the foundation for our financial management and revenue operations functions. You'll own everything from core accounting coordination to FP&A modeling, revenue reporting, and GTM operations — setting up the infrastructure and processes that will scale with us. You'll report directly to the Head of Finance and Operations and work closely with leadership, Sales, Product, and external partners (accountants, auditors).
Own revenue reporting and P&L analysis to provide leadership with clear visibility into financial performance
Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, annual budgeting, and leadership presentations (hiring plans, cash burn, growth scenarios)
Coordinate month-end close, expenses, and payroll processing with external partners (accountants, tax)
Manage client invoicing and cash collection processes
Design revenue performance dashboards tracking pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales velocity
Own revenue forecasting models and continuously improve prediction accuracy
Configure and optimise commercial tools (CRM, deal desk, quoting systems) and roll out scalable GTM processes
Partner with Head of Growth and Head of Sales on revenue planning, governance, and operations
Design and administer sales compensation plans (calculations, payments, and ongoing optimisation)
Drive continuous improvement of finance and RevOps tooling and processes
Automate workflows to increase efficiency, leveraging AI where possible
Lead ad-hoc strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed
A builder who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys creating structure from scratch
Hands-on and resourceful: you can design, implement, and analyse systems yourself
Detail-oriented with strong financial discipline — ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting and operations
A collaborative partner who communicates well across departments
Motivated by tangible impact: you care about helping the company scale efficiently and intelligently
You're not just a numbers person — you understand the business context and strategic implications behind the data
You don't wait for playbooks — you write them
You're not intimidated by technical tools, financial systems, or CRM integrations
You don't avoid tough conversations about financial accountability or operational efficiency
You're not satisfied with keeping the status quo — you continuously seek optimization
4+ years of total experience including at least 3+ years in Finance Management, FP&A, or Finance Operations (e.g. Senior Auditor at a Big 4, FP&A Analyst/Manager)
Demonstrated experience with revenue operations projects (sales process, CRM implementation, sales compensation, or revenue reporting)
Strong proficiency in financial modelling, revenue reporting, and P&L management
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience supporting SaaS business models and understanding of recurring revenue metrics
Experience with B2B tech, usage-based billing, or subscription revenue models
Exposure to PLG + sales-led GTM hybrid setups
Familiarity with SQL or basic data querying
Prior startup or high-growth experience (ideally through a fundraise or rapid scaling period)
Experience with compliance projects (e.g. SOC 2, CIR/CII)
Knowledge of sales compensation design and sales operations best practices
