As the Director of Sales Operations, you are not just managing a department; you are the chief architect of our Sales Operations Center of Excellence. Reporting to the Head of Global Sales Operations, you will lead the charge in re-engineering operational workflows for our B2B sales organization to drive velocity, accuracy, and scalability, with the potential to expand across the organization.
We are looking for a transformation-minded leader who thrives in complexity. You will dismantle legacy bottlenecks, synchronize global teams, and build a world-class operational engine that bridges the gap between sales ambition and financial rigor.
You will work on-site in our midtown Manhattan office at least 3 days every week.
Strategic Governance & Global Architecture
Global Leadership: Oversee Sales Operations across AMER, EMEA, and APAC, providing vision and strategic direction to Regional Directors and a global team of โ 40 Regional Sales Coordinators (RSCs).
Process Engineering: Conduct deep-dive diagnostics of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle to identify and eliminate friction. You will own the roadmap for scalable technology and workflow improvements.
Systemic Alignment: Act as the primary architect for the sales journey, ensuring Salesforce configurations and pre-sales workflows are optimized for speed without sacrificing data integrity.
Data Hygiene: Lead the team in maintaining rigorous audit trails for contract creation and user seat management, proactively preventing billing errors and delivery delays.
Cross-Functional Diplomacy & Operational Authority
Organizational Bridge: Serve as the high-level liaison between Sales, Finance, Billing, and Legal. You and your team are the expert at balancing competing priorities to find "win-win" solutions that protect the firm but minimize obstacles to sales execution.
Operational Guardrails: Exercise the authority to veto requests that fail technical or billing requirements. You are the guardian of the entire picture, ensuring every deal is built for long-term success.
Execution & Risk Mitigation
Standardization: Develop and enforce Global SOPs to ensure a consistent experience for sales teams, regardless of geography.
Root-Cause Resolution: Manage the escalation pipeline not just by "fixing" problems, but by implementing permanent structural corrections to prevent recurrence.
Product/Billing Synergy: Partner with Product teams to ensure new offerings are "sales-ready" and that client entitlements are activated seamlessly and accurately.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in our midtown Manhattan office at least 3 days every week.
Experience: 12+ years of professional experience in process improvement, business transformation, or sales operations, with at least 5 years in a significant leadership capacity.
The "Builder" Pedigree: Proven track record of building or radically transforming a Sales Operations function within a complex, global matrixed environment.
Commercial, Financial & Contract Acumen: Strong understanding of B2B SaaS/subscription models, pricing, contracting, end-to-end contract lifecycle management, billing, and revenue controls.
Change Management Mastery: Exceptional ability to influence tenured stakeholders and drive behavioral change within sales teams and across the organization.
Technical Literacy: Expert-level familiarity working with a complex tech stack, including Salesforce, and the vision to integrate them effectively.
Change & Transformation Leadership: Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation and change initiatives. Ability to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and behaviors across global sales organizations. Strong communication and storytelling skills to translate complexity into clear action.
People Leadership: Experience overseeing a multi-layered organizational structure, leading managers and their teams to deliver against company goals.
