Develop operational forecasts at various levels (product, region, time horizon) using statistical models and tools.
Analyze historical sales, market trends, promotional activities, and new product launches to identify patterns and drivers
Work with Sales, Finance, and Operations to gather insights and build consensus on forecasts
Create databases, reports, and maintain forecasting models
Identify potential supply chain issues and collaborate on solutions.
Help develop strategies for efficient inventory management and product availability
Onsite office role
Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, annual sales attainment
Provide marketing activity management in support of sales
track proposals for win/loss ratio and provide feedback to product manager
This is a current vacancy for which Carrier is currently hiring.
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting)
2+ years supporting Sales Operations, forecasting, or pipeline analysis in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
The expected base salary range for this role is between $71,500 and $121,500. The rate of pay may be impacted by factors such as the applicant’s geographic location, market data/range, skills, prior relevant experience, job-related knowledge, specific degrees and certifications, and/or other relevant considerations.
This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, etc., as well as possible RRSP matching.
This role may also provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus, sales bonus, sales commission or local incentive. If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation, it will be based on measurable performance factors which may include company performance, individual performance or other key performance indicators.
Technology-enabled tools may support parts of the recruitment process, with oversight by people.
