Role Overview
AI Go-To-Market Engineer, Toronto, Canada (In-Office), Salary: 75K−200K CAD (negotiable based on achievements and experience)
About Us
We're an agentic learning startup with roots in San Francisco and Toronto, on a mission to revolutionize how people learn.
We're backed by top-tier investors and built by a powerhouse team from IIT, Microsoft, Amazon, Bain, and Goldman Sachs. If you want to bridge cutting-edge AI with real customers, drive revenue growth, and own the entire GTM motion—welcome home.
What We're Looking For
1–2 years of technical experience (engineering, product, or technical consulting) with exposure to sales, GTM, or customer-facing roles. You've written code AND talked to customers.
Hands-on experience with AI agents, LLMs, or AI product demos. You can explain agentic architectures to a CEO and debug a LangChain flow in the same meeting.
Track record of automating GTM workflows—built outbound systems, lead qualification bots, demo environments, or AI-powered customer tools.
You've worked in early-stage AI or tech startups (Seed or Series A) where you wore multiple hats: sales engineer, solutions architect, product evangelist, growth hacker.
Strong communication skills—you translate complex AI concepts into business value. You've delivered demos, written proposals, and closed deals or influenced buyers.
You've achieved quantifiable GTM results—increased conversion rates, accelerated sales cycles, automated manual processes, or drove product adoption.
Based in Toronto or willing to relocate. This is an in-office role where collaboration and face-time matter.
What You'll Do
Own the Technical Sales Motion: Design and deliver compelling product demos that showcase our AI's unique capabilities to prospects, investors, and partners.
Build GTM Automation: Create AI-powered systems for lead generation, qualification, personalized outreach, and customer onboarding—making our sales motion scalable and data-driven.
Bridge Product & Market: Gather customer feedback, identify friction points, and work with engineering to shape product roadmap based on real market needs.
Enable Sales & Marketing: Build demo environments, create technical content (case studies, solution briefs, technical blog posts), and train non-technical teams on product capabilities.
Drive Pilots & Onboarding: Guide prospects through proof-of-concept implementations, troubleshoot technical blockers, and ensure successful customer deployments.
Optimize the Funnel: Instrument and analyze the entire customer journey—from first touch to closed-won—and systematically improve conversion at each stage.
Who You Are
A technical storyteller who can demo a feature, explain the architecture, and articulate the business impact—all in one conversation.
A builder-seller hybrid—equally comfortable writing Python scripts to automate outreach as you are jumping on sales calls to close deals.
A customer obsessive who listens deeply, identifies pain points, and shapes solutions that customers actually want to buy.
A systems thinker who sees GTM as an engineering problem: measure, automate, optimize, scale.
A scrappy executor—willing to cold email prospects, build your own demo scripts, create slide decks, and do whatever it takes to win.
A low-ego team player who shares wins, learns from losses, and elevates the entire GTM organization.
Our Culture & Values
Customer Obsession: Every demo, every email, every interaction must create genuine value.
Be an Owner: The GTM motion is yours to build, measure, and improve.
Superpumped: High agency, high pace—we're solving hard problems with heart.
Bias Toward Output: Shipped demos beat perfect pitch decks. Test, learn, iterate.
Nothing But Excellence: We sweat the small stuff. World-class GTM or nothing.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive Compensation: Salary negotiable based on experience + ESOPs + commission/bonuses tied to revenue and GTM metrics.
Work-Life Balance: Health benefits, gym memberships, paid vacations, your birthday off, and more.
Exponential Learning: Get deep exposure to AI sales engineering, GTM automation, enterprise AI deployments, and product-market fit discovery.
Major Ownership: As our first GTM engineer, you'll define our sales playbook, GTM infrastructure, and customer success strategy from scratch.
Toronto Hub: Work alongside a world-class team in one of North America's fastest-growing AI ecosystems.
Ideal Background (Not Required, But Awesome)
Built technical demos or POCs that directly influenced sales outcomes

Experience with CRM automation, sales analytics, or growth engineering
Previous role as Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
Engineering degree with sales/consulting experience (or vice versa)
Familiarity with video/EdTech products or learning platforms
