The Sales Operations Analyst Intern is responsible for providing support to the Sales Operations and Sales Leadership team in three primary areas:
Data Management and Analysis
Technology / Process Support
Project Support / Management

Data Management and Analysis:
Conduct data aggregation and analysis in support of strategic sales initiatives
Review, analyze, and clean data within Minitab’s CRM in support of ad hoc reporting and miscellaneous operational initiatives
Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and processes
Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
Identify and define both process gaps and potential improvements.
Produce reports that provide insight and guidance to management for sales strategy development and maximum sales efficiency.
Technology, Tool(s) and Process Support:
Stay current and review new features to identify further ways to leverage and optimize all the available features and capabilities to help benefit sales.
Support the sales operations and planning functions in developing and improving sales processes, systems, and strategies.
Assist with commission calculations, coordinating territory/region assignments, etc.
Support sales planning, reporting, forecasting quota and management, sales process optimization, sales development, and territory planning.
Work with Leadership to identify, document, and improve process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
Work with End Users to see how they are using the system to help them be more efficient and help develop ongoing education and training.
Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure proper training is provided to the Global Sales Team for new processes and procedures
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Global Sales Operations Team with project and task management on an as-needed basis
Participate in special projects as directed by the Sales Operations Leadership
Participate in meetings, take meeting minutes, and learn!
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in in Business, Statistics, Finance or closely related discipline or equivalent industry experience
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability and initiative to work effectively both independently and on a team.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language
MUST be available to work onsite at our Minitab Corporate Headquarters in State College, PA.
Remote work is not an option for this position.
