We are hiring on behalf of our client, a Luxury Hospitality Management Company based in Cyprus, a Director of Marketing Operations & Marketing Technology, who will report directly to the Board of Directors and work in close collaboration with the Director of Business Development, the Director of Corporate Affairs & Communication, and the General Managers of the Hotels**.** He will be responsible for building, managing and optimizing the marketing operating infrastructure across the Company’s luxury hotel portfolio.
This role ensures that the marketing strategy set by leadership is translated into structured, measurable and scalable execution across all properties. The position carries full accountability for marketing operations, marketing technology, vendor governance and team development, supporting portfolio growth and operational excellence.
This role may operate under a hybrid working model, combining on-site presence with remote work, subject to business needs.
** Brand Ownership & Evolution**
Act as the custodian of the Company’s brand portfolio, ensuring consistency and premium positioning across all properties.
Lead the evolution of the brand narrative in alignment with ownership vision and growth strategy.
Translate brand strategy into clear execution across all channels and guest touchpoints.
Ensure cohesive storytelling across the portfolio while maintaining property-level distinction.
Safeguard brand guidelines, visual identity and tone of voice across all internal and external communications.
Design and implement a unified marketing operating model across all properties (6+ luxury properties).
Translate strategic priorities into actionable campaign plans with clear timelines, deliverables and accountability.
Establish campaign governance, approval workflows and quality control processes.
Develop and maintain marketing performance dashboards and KPI frameworks.
Provide structured performance reporting and insights to the Board of Directors.
Standardise processes, templates and documentation across the portfolio.
Own and manage the marketing technology ecosystem including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, AI tools, DAM and project management platforms.
Ensure full integration between marketing systems and hospitality platforms (Opera Cloud, PMS, booking engine).
Lead AI adoption across content creation, workflow automation and analytics.
Ensure accurate data capture, reporting integrity and data-driven decision making.
Evaluate and implement new technologies aligned with growth strategy.
Oversee and optimise annual marketing vendor spend across paid media agencies, PR, content production and digital services.
Establish vendor performance frameworks with measurable KPIs.
Lead agency briefings, quarterly performance reviews and contract negotiations.
Coordinate multi-agency execution to ensure brand consistency and ROI.
Manage RFP processes and vendor selection when required.
(Paid media execution remains outsourced; this role manages performance and accountability.)
Lead and develop the central marketing team.
Implement structured development plans for direct reports with clear progression milestones.
Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring and performance management.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation and AI capability.
Coordinate effectively with shared technical resources (Webmaster, SEO/Digital Specialist).
Represent marketing operations at Board level with clear, data-backed reporting.
Align with General Managers on property-specific marketing execution.
Translate commercial objectives into measurable marketing plans.
Ensure transparent communication between ownership, leadership and operational teams.
10–12 years’ experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology or similar leadership role.
Experience in luxury hospitality or multi-property environments strongly preferred.
Proven track record managing complex agency ecosystems and substantial budgets.
Strong expertise in CRM, automation platforms, analytics and AI tools.
Experience integrating marketing systems with hospitality platforms (Opera Cloud or similar) is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated ability to build structure, improve processes and scale operations.
Strong leadership capability with a genuine focus on talent development.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business decisions.
