FieldAI’s Irvine team is where embodied AI meets real robots, real sensors, and real field deployments. Based in the heart of Southern California’s robotics ecosystem, we build risk-aware, reliable, field-ready AI systems that solve the hardest problems in robotics and unlock the full potential of embodied intelligence. If you want your work to ship, get tested on hardware, and improve through real deployments, Irvine is the place. We go beyond typical data-driven approaches or pure transformer-only architectures, combining rigorous engineering with learning systems proven in globally deployed solutions that deliver results today and get better every time our robots run in the field.
We are hiring a Sr. Manager, GTM Finance & Revenue Operations to serve as the founding GTM Finance and RevOps function at FieldAI — an AI robotics company building autonomous systems for the world’s most demanding environments. This role has a front row seat to help build how FieldAI scales revenue: you will build the operating infrastructure, financial rigor, and strategic planning capability that powers our commercial motion from the ground up.
You will sit within FP&A and serve as the embedded Finance business partner to GTM leadership — owning the full bookings and revenue forecast process, building our CRM and pipeline infrastructure, and driving the quota, territory, and commission frameworks that a scaling sales team depends on.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical thinker with deep GTM Finance expertise and a builder’s mindset — someone who can translate complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights for the executive team and drive the operational cadences that keep a high-growth sales org performing.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the Finance business partner to Sales and commercial leadership — connecting corporate strategy to GTM execution
- Own topline forecasting: ARR, NRR, GRR, ACV, TCV, Renewal, and Expansion — from AOP through weekly cadence
- Build and own the territory, quota, capacity, and coverage model framework for 2026 and beyond
- Establish quarterly bookings targets aligned to AOP, with buffer and over-assignment logic
- Support and drive the GTM financial systems roadmap — leading the Salesforce buildout as the primary business-process owner and partnering with the field on configuration, stage definitions, and pipeline standards
- Drive weekly deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and QBR facilitation alongside sales leadership
- Design and administer the commission plan in partnership with HR and Legal
- Lead the pricing and packaging framework effort across Sales, Product, and Legal
- Own the deal desk for non-standard commercial terms
- Synthesize complex GTM data into clear, actionable insights for executives and the board — pipeline, bookings, productivity, and efficiency metrics
- Evaluate ROI across GTM investments, headcount, and channel decisions
- Partner with Marketing to track pipeline contribution, campaign ROI, and demand generation efficiency — connecting spend to pipeline creation and bookings outcomes
What You Bring:
- 6-10+ years of experience in GTM Finance, FP&A, RevOps, or strategic finance — ideally at a high-growth SaaS or enterprise tech company
- Direct experience as a Finance business partner to a CRO, VP Sales, or equivalent commercial leader
- Hands-on ownership of quota design, territory modeling, or commission plan design
- Deep fluency in SaaS and subscription metrics: ARR, NRR, GRR, ACV, TCV, Renewal, Expansion
- Strong financial modeling capability — AOP cycles, bottoms-up forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Proven track record building cross-functional processes and operating cadences from scratch
- Strong ownership mindset with excellent communication skills — able to synthesize complexity into clear, actionable insights for exec and board audiences
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience building GTM operating systems in early- or growth-stage companies
- Exposure to CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) from a business process ownership perspective
- Background in pricing and packaging or deal desk work
- Entrepreneurial or founder experience — comfort with ambiguity and zero-to-one environments
- MBA or equivalent experience
