The ROPS Analytics Director will play a critical role in driving our analytics strategy, serving as the engine of execution for the Core ROPS Reporting team. This leader will translate high-level vision into actionable roadmaps, ensuring that data capabilities scale to meet the evolving needs of the business and evolving capabilities in the analytics space while driving measurable financial operational excellence.
What Will You Do?
As a ROPS Analytics Director, you will lead a team driving strategic insights, identifying and implementing revenue cycle opportunities, and collaborating across teams to enhance DaVita’s financial performance. This role will lead and develop a team of analysts, foster a data-driven culture, be a key leader in our analytical modernization and transformation, and effectively communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
Strategic Execution & Operational Leadership: Translates organizational strategy into clear, execution-ready plans for the Core Reporting team, establishing short- and long-term goals that align with broader ROPS priorities. Directs daily operations to ensure “zero-defect” execution on recurring deliverables while partnering with Finance and Operations leaders to diagnose revenue trends and drive yield improvements.
Leadership & Team Development: Builds and coaches a multi-tiered team of Managers and Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, belonging, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Actively grooms the next generation of analytical leadership by creating clear development paths that grow technical fluency and business acumen.
Transformation & Innovation: Leads the transition from legacy reporting methods to modern, scalable solutions (e.g., Tableau, Cloud-based platforms) to unlock efficiency. Drives the change management efforts required to embed new analytical tools into operational workflows, ensuring high adoption and measurable impact.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication: Serves as a trusted analytics advisor for senior-level stakeholders, synthesizing complex analysis into concise, “executive-ready” narratives. Collaborates with leaders across ROPS in Analytics and Operations to ensure analytics initiatives are integrated into the fabric of daily operations and exceeds the needs of the business.
Champions the DaVita Mission & Values, creating an inclusive environment where teammates collaborate, drive results, and feel safe to challenge the status quo.
Allocates team resources effectively to balance the delivery of core reporting needs with strategic transformation projects.
Partners with other ROPS teams to provide data-driven recommendations and strategic thought leadership.
Experience Leading Others: 5+ years of experience leading people leaders (Managers/Senior Managers) and building high-performing teams.
Work Experience: 8-10+ years of progressive experience in Analytics, Revenue Cycle Management, or Finance.
Operational Mindset: Proven ability to take a high-level strategy and drive it to completion in a complex, matrixed environment.
Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of data ecosystems (SQL, Tableau, Cloud Platforms) with the ability to guide technical teams and remove roadblocks.
Communication: Exceptional executive presence and ability to communicate complex data concepts simply to senior leadership.
Travel Requirement: Up to 30% travel may be required; typical travel is 5-10%.

The Salary Range for the role is $115,000.00 - $183,000.00 per year.
