As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you’ll play a vital role at SentinelOne. We are looking for a proactive individual who can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform by gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable, best-practice solutions, and managing the product roadmap. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us; therefore, the Senior Salesforce Administrator should be proficient in all aspects of user management, including support tickets, training, and solution design, with user satisfaction as a priority.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform who can grasp both our current setup and our business objectives to quickly identify areas for improvement. The Senior Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, and will be able to translate technical information into layman’s terms and clearly explain design options and their potential impact.
This role is structured as a hybrid position, with ~1 day/week at our office in Heredia. This is a varied, business-facing role with the following responsibilities:
Platform Configuration & Management:
All aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules.
Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
Perform routine and basic administration of Salesforce, including managing Salesforce usage and limits, backups, data import and exports, and sandbox refreshes and maintenance.
Solution Design & Roadmapping:
Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
Identify unused or underutilized platform features.
Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders.
Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders.
CPQ & Automation:
Configuration and Customization of the Salesforce CPQ platform to meet business requirements, including product setup, price rules, product configurations, quote templates, discount schedules, and approval processes.
Monitor and manage CPQ-related data integrity and accuracy across opportunities, quotes, products, orders, contracts, and subscriptions.
Configure and optimize process automations and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Integrations & DevOps:
Management and maintenance of integrated applications and third-party suppliers, including DocuSign, Marketo, Conga, Zendesk, NetSuite, and Legal CLM.
DevOps/release management experience, including implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools such as Git, GearSet, Flosum, or Copado.
Experience using tools like Apex Data Loader, Developer Console, Workbench, and DemandTools for data management and troubleshooting.
Support & Documentation:
Proactive system maintenance, including security reviews, release updates, health checks, and Optimizer.
Handle user support tickets, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
New user and ongoing user training to monitor and improve user adoption.
Maintain detailed technical documentation of configurations, customizations, processes, and changes to ensure transparency and continuity.
Level of education: BA/BS Degree required
Strong Salesforce product knowledge, with at least five years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience.
Certified Salesforce Administrator.
Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes.
Good understanding of the Lead-to-Order Process.
A proactive attitude to platform enhancements and designing scalable, best-practice solutions.
Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
DevOps/release management experience.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms and requirements into technical solutions.
Experience in change management and governance.
Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
Experience with any CPQ is a plus (Salesforce CPQ preferred).
Understands basic triggers/Apex code knowledge.
