This role is critical in helping Baker Tilly translate market priorities into client-ready, executable solutions that can be transitioned and delivered with clarity, speed, and discipline.
The ideal candidate brings a combination of commercial acumen, solutioning capability, solution lifecycle management and operational understanding. This individual will work across growth, solution, transition, and delivery teams to ensure pursuits are shaped in a way that is both compelling in the market and executable in delivery.
Partner with GTM leadership to translate market priorities, target accounts, and client needs into actionable solution plays
Liaise with marketing and industry teams to drive results driven demand generation efforts.
Support the development of tailored solution frameworks aligned to industry, buyer priorities, and Baker Tilly service capabilities
Help define service scope, delivery model, operating construct, and value proposition for strategic pursuits
Ensure solution design reflects both market differentiation and operational feasibility
Support priority pursuits by helping structure scope, assumptions, service boundaries, and delivery approach
Develop client-ready materials including solution summaries, pursuit content, and internal deal-shaping support
Work across teams to improve consistency in how solutions are positioned, packaged, and prepared for transition
Identify risks, dependencies, and nonstandard commitments early in the pursuit cycle
Serve as the primary connector between GTM and Transition to ensure smooth handoff from sold solution to mobilization
Create a clear pursuit-to-transition handoff package including scope, assumptions, risks, timeline considerations, and success measures
Align internal stakeholders around what was sold, how it will be implemented, and what must be true for successful delivery
Help ensure that transition teams begin with a structured blueprint rather than rebuilding the solution post-sale
Capture lessons learned from transitions and feed them back into future solution design, scoping, and pursuit strategy
Maintain reusable assets, templates, and playbooks that improve quality and speed across the solutioning process
Enable GTM teams with stronger messaging and commercially credible solution support
Contribute to ongoing refinement of how Baker Tilly brings integrated managed services solutions to market
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, operations, consulting, or related field
8+ years of experience in consulting, managed services, solution design, transitions, business transformation, or go-to-market strategy
Demonstrated ability to work across commercial and operational teams in a matrixed environment
Experience shaping complex services solutions with clear scope, delivery considerations, and business value articulation
Strong executive communication and presentation skills
Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities
Experience in managed services, outsourcing, or operating model transformation
Familiarity with finance, HR, or application support services
Experience supporting pursuits, proposals, and pre-sales solution development
Understanding of transition planning, service mobilization, and delivery governance
Experience working in professional services, consulting, or a large matrixed organization
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong execution discipline. They will be able to operate comfortably between growth, solutioning, and delivery teams and bring structure to complex, cross-functional work. This person should be highly collaborative, commercially aware, and able to translate ambiguity into action.
Direct pipeline ownership or quota responsibility
Final pricing or contract approval authority
Day-to-day ownership of transition execution after handoff
Steady-state service delivery ownership
Product or platform ownership
