The Director of Sales Operations will lead sales operations initiatives across the Canada Business Unit, driving efficiency, consistency, and operational excellence across the sales organization.
As a trusted advisor to the Canada Business Unit leader and a key member of the leadership team, you will partner on strategic planning, implement scalable sales methodologies, and deliver data-driven insights that accelerate revenue growth and improve business performance.
1. Sales Strategy and Planning
Partner with the Canada leadership team to develop and execute the sales strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
Conduct market and performance analysis to identify growth opportunities, trends, and competitive insights within Canada.
Own and drive the annual strategic planning process for the business unit in collaboration with sales leadership.
Align roles to market opportunity and define sales targets, quotas, and territories to optimize coverage and productivity.
2. Sales Operations Management
Own the forecast submission process and business unit P&L, ensuring accuracy, rigor, and transparency.
Establish and continuously optimize core sales processes, including lead management, opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Implement and manage performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure sales effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
Improve forecast accuracy through analysis of historical performance, pipeline health, and market dynamics.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment between revenue execution and financial reporting.
Lead the quarterly commissions process in collaboration with central sales operations and finance.
Review and approve pricing and deal structures in partnership with sales leadership to ensure compliance and profitability.
3. Sales Analytics and Insights
Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, risks, and revenue growth opportunities.
Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations with clear, actionable insights.
Use data to inform decision-making and shape strategic initiatives.
Partner with Business Intelligence to define and deliver the metrics required to run the business effectively.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, finance, technical, HR, and operations teams to ensure alignment across all go-to-market motions.
Partner with IT to evaluate and implement sales technology solutions, including CRM enhancements and sales productivity tools, to improve efficiency and scale
7+ years of experience in sales operations or a similar function within cybersecurity or SaaS environments.
Strong expertise in sales processes, methodologies, and operational best practices.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both a detailed and executive level.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Tableau.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership and the ability to drive alignment across functions.
Willingness to travel across Canada to partner with regional leaders.
Fluent in English required; French is considered an asset.
