Your mission: Within our Client Relationships and Sales team, your mission, as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect, the role focuses on the technical implementation and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions aligned with business and marketing objectives.
The position requires advanced expertise in AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL to build dynamic, personalized content, manage complex data models, and enable precise audience segmentation. The specialist designs and maintains automated journeys, integrations, and tracking frameworks to ensure scalable and measurable campaign execution. Strong technical ownership of reporting and performance analysis supports continuous optimization of marketing actions. Acting as a technical bridge between CR&S Sales and Marketing & Communications, the role ensures reliable delivery, automation, and end-to-end project execution.
Major tasks and responsibilities
1. Advanced technical skills:
Advanced Personalization: Using AMPscript and SSJS to personalize communications at a very granular level.
Automation: ability to automate complex processes, saving time and improving campaign efficiency;
API Integrations: Connecting Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems for better data and process synchronization;
2. Data Management:
Data Analysis: Creating reports and dashboards to analyse campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
Segmentation: Ability to group audiences based on behaviours and preferences for targeted campaigns.
3. Problem Solving:
Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving bugs and technical issues to ensure smooth campaign launches.
Testing: Carefully testing all elements before launching a campaign to ensure proper functionality.
4. Collaboration with Marketing and key stakeholders
Synergy: automate and personalize campaigns based on strategies developed by marketers;
Optimization: marketers can use the analytics and reports provided to adjust strategies and improve campaign performance.
Innovation: develop innovative solutions to engage clients (gated content) and achieve business goals.
By combining the technical skills with marketing expertise, maximize the effectiveness and impact of marketing campaigns.
Additional Technical Capabilities:
SQL and Data Management:
Proficiency in SQL to query data extensions and automate tasks
Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud data models and the ability to build queries to retrieve and/or summarize subscriber and activity data.
AMPscript and SSJS:
Use of AMPscript to personalize email content and automate tasks.
Knowledge of SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript) for advanced customizations and integrations.
Landing Page and Email Design:
Collaboration with marketers to ensure email templates and landing pages are visually appealing and properly rendered across different devices.
Use of HTML, CSS, and AMPscript for design and integrations.
API Integrations:
SFMC specific skills:
Creation of automated journeys using tools like Journey Builder and Automation Studio
Configuration of triggers, email content design and personalization
Ability to group audiences based on behaviours & preferences for targeted campaigns

Technical skills: SQL; AMPscript; SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript for advanced scripting and automation), HTML/CSS (for email and web content design)

Data Segmentation: Expertise in segmenting data for targeted marketing campaigns.
Global Analytics and Reporting Competencies including Salesforce TCRM mastering.
