What's the role?
The MarTech Manager owns and optimises how marketing technology is used across Client Partnerships, ensuring it is applied consistently, safely and effectively.
You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, data-driven marketing campaigns across the business. You’ll be responsible for the technical build, execution and optimisation of marketing activity, supporting News Australia advertiser & agency events, newsletters and always-on programs while ensuring accuracy, scalability and best- practice use of our marketing technology stack.
This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on execution, working closely with stakeholders and bringing campaigns to life through strong technical delivery.
Own the technical setup, execution and optimisation of marketing campaigns across our MarTech stack, supporting advertiser and agency events, newsletters and always‑on programs.
Build and manage end‑to‑end campaigns in platforms including Pardot (Account Engagement) and Salesforce CRM, including key integrations for flagship events.
Set and maintain clear standards for campaign setup, segmentation, suppression and data usage so activity is scalable, compliant and insight‑driven.
Lead reporting and insights for campaigns and lifecycle activity, using Salesforce dashboards to surface clear, actionable recommendations and optimisation opportunities.
Partner with Sales, Client Marketing, Technology and MarTech teams to embed best‑practice use of our marketing technology and keep documentation current and understood.
Who are you?
Proven experience in MarTech or marketing operations roles, preferably 5 years.
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and Account Engagement from a business usage and governance perspective
Experience defining campaign frameworks, rules of engagement and operational processes
Strong understanding of compliance requirements impacting marketing communications
Experience communicating MarTech outcomes and insights in clear, business-focused language to non-technical stakeholders
Strong reporting, analysis and insight communication skills
Understanding of customer behaviour and preferences, with the ability to develop customer-centric Martech strategies and campaigns.
