Salesforce Functional Consultant

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Configure Salesforce using declarative capabilities such as Flow, objects/fields, Record Types, Permission Sets, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.

• Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, defects, and enhancement requests.

• Perform functional impact analysis and recommend scalable solutions following Salesforce best practices.

• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, releases, and post-deployment validation.

• Maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, administrators, and other technical teams.

• Support SLA-driven delivery within a managed services environment.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of Salesforce experience, preferably as a Functional Consultant, Administrator, or Business Analyst.

• Strong Salesforce administration and declarative configuration skills.

• Experience with Salesforce Flow, security/access, data model, reports, and dashboards.

• Strong requirements gathering, troubleshooting, and functional analysis capabilities.

• Experience supporting production Salesforce environments.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified Administrator

• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst

• Sales Cloud or Service Cloud experience/certification

• Experience with Agile, ITIL, Jira/Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow
