Company Overview

Arcesium is a global financial technology firm that solves complex data-driven challenges faced by some of the world’s most sophisticated financial institutions. We constantly innovate our platform and capabilities to meet tomorrow’s challenges, anticipate the risks our clients encounter, and design advanced solutions to help our clients achieve transformational business outcomes.

Financial technology is a high-growth industry as change and innovation continue to disrupt the status-quo and prompt major transformation. Arcesium is at a particularly interesting time in our own growth as we look to leverage our successfully established market position and expand operations in pursuit of strategic new business opportunities. We value intellectual curiosity, proactive ownership, and collaboration with colleagues, and we empower you to meaningfully contribute from day one and accelerate your professional development.

Arcesium seeks an experienced Senior Analyst to join the Deal Desk within the Client and Partner Development (CPD) business, with a focus on pricing strategy and analytics. The role is focused on running deal pricing while building up the pricing strategy and analytics function, influencing how we price, how we manage costs, and how we strengthen our competitive position in the market. The person will work closely with Sales, Presales, Solution Architects, Finance, Product, and Technology functions.

What You'll do:

  • Analyze pricing and margin across deals, products, and client segments to identify where we are gaining pricing strength and where there are opportunities to change pricing, packaging, or discounting, and bring clear recommendations to leadership.

  • Manage the product and pricing catalog, working with Product, Technology, and Financial Operations to establish and maintain pricing models for all standard solution sets.

  • Create, maintain, and refresh the rate cards used across the business so rates reflect current costs, market positioning, and the approved pricing approach.

  • Oversee pricing governance, including pricing policies, approval matrices, and discount controls. Run the deal approval process and track exceptions so patterns are visible to leadership.

  • Maintain approved costs, revenue assumptions, and margin inputs, partner with Finance on deal revenue and margin views, and respond to audit requests on pricing with clear approvals, rationale, and records.

  • Build pricing for live deals across SaaS, managed services, implementation, and professional services. Handle nonstandard requests such as custom scope, ramp pricing, and multi-year terms, escalating exceptions where needed.

  • Agree reporting needs with stakeholders, then build and maintain reports on deal desk metrics such as turnaround time, discount trends, margin by deal type, and win and loss patterns. Follow market and competitor pricing trends and recommend changes to our approach.

  • Document the pricing process, definitions, FAQs, and worked examples, and support pricing transformation initiatives including changes to tooling and approval workflows, with a goal of automating repeatable work.

What You'll need:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a deal desk, pricing, pricing analytics, commercial finance, or sales operations role, ideally at a FinTech firm, fund administrator, SaaS company, or similar business.

  • Strong Excel, financial modeling, and analytical skills, with the ability to turn pricing and margin data into insights and recommendations.

  • Solid understanding of pricing models including subscription pricing for SaaS, managed services (FinOp) pricing, time and materials (T&M) pricing, and consumption-based pricing, and how to combine them in a single deal.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and CPQ, including quote creation, approval workflows, and pipeline reporting. Experience with Salesforce RevCloud is required.

  • Good understanding of asset managers and financial services providers, and the technology and managed services that are valuable to them.

  • Experience tracking and reporting KPIs to stakeholders, and clear, concise communication with senior leadership.

  • Willingness to run specific deals hands on, with fast turnaround and strong attention to detail, while balancing longer term analytical projects.

  • Sound judgment and discretion, given the proximity of this role to revenue, margins, and sensitive prospect information.
