Position Overview
The Sales Operations Manager is the backbone of the sales organization, ensuring systems, processes, and data support the team's success. This role focuses on Salesforce administration, sales analytics, process optimization, cross-functional coordination, and end-to-end order operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about enabling sales productivity through operational excellence.
You are the connective tissue between sales reps, Salesforce, finance, and operations — ensuring deals move cleanly from signed contract to delivered order, while building the reporting and process infrastructure sales leadership relies on to run the business. This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone ready to own sales operations with minimal oversight and mentor others as the function scales.
Here's What You'll Do:
Serve as lead Salesforce administrator for the global sales team: user management, configuration, quote and opportunity management, workflow/validation rules, and system maintenance
Own data integrity across Salesforce through regular audits, cleanup campaigns, and validation rules
Process sales orders end to end: contract review, order entry, and coordination with finance and operations through fulfillment
Build and maintain sales dashboards and reports (pipeline, forecast, order status, MTD/QTD performance, win rates, sales cycle length, quota attainment) for sales leadership
Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages; support sales leadership with ad hoc analysis and executive presentations
Support reps with proposal, contract, pricing, and quote questions and issues
Track order status post-close, resolve discrepancies, and escalate blockers before they become customer issues
Own end-to-end Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests from the sales team and customers: gather client details and requirements, submit to Blink's insurance broker, and track requests through delivery and renewal
Document and continuously improve sales operations processes, including lead routing, opportunity management, and quote-to-cash workflows, as the team scales globally
Train and support the sales team on Salesforce functionality, tools, and best practices
Manage sales enablement materials, competitive intelligence, and the resource library
Coordinate sales team meetings, kick-offs, and training sessions
Assist with sales tools evaluation, implementation, and integration projects
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure clean handoffs from close to installation, and act as the first point of contact for the sales team on process, systems, and reporting questions
What You Bring to the Table:
3-5+ years in sales operations, sales analytics, or CRM administration, ideally in B2B hardware, SaaS, or infrastructure
Advanced Salesforce proficiency (opportunity and quote management, reports, dashboards, workflow/validation rules); Salesforce Admin certification a plus
Proven track record documenting and optimizing sales processes with minimal oversight
Strong Excel skills and comfort analyzing sales data and building reports
Experience with an ERP or order management system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy
Clear, professional written and verbal communication with reps, customers, and cross-functional partners; comfortable presenting to sales leadership
Experience supporting a distributed, global sales team is a plus
EV, energy, or infrastructure industry experience a plus
