ModMed is seeking a strategic Senior Deal Desk Analyst to serve as a key commercial partner in our high-growth environment. You will be instrumental in structuring complex deals, managing opportunities, and executing sales strategies that minimize cycle times and maximize profitability. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to play a critical role in shaping ModMed’s financial success.
Strategic Pricing & Negotiation
Create and advise on innovative pricing strategies and structures that fulfill clients’ requirements while optimizing revenue and profitability for ModMed.
Drive commercial business terms negotiations with internal stakeholders (and clients as needed), coordinating the commercial, operational, and contractual aspects of deals to ensure company interests and customer needs align.
Perform profitability analysis to inform cross-functional decision-making and enforce pricing guidelines and approvals.
Identify and act as an escalation point to facilitate fast, effective approvals for non-standard deals by relevant stakeholders.
Sales Enablement & Deal Execution
Act as a key cross-functional partner to Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Product, and Legal in support of the sales cycle.
Provide real-time guidance to sales representatives regarding the proper structure of deals, standard terms, quote generation, and contract processes.
Manage the quote-to-revenue booking process, ensuring accurate opportunities are properly created and tracked in Salesforce for forecasting, bookings, and compensation purposes.
Adhere to and maintain agreed-upon deal turnaround times to keep sales velocity high.
Process Optimization & Operations
Conduct analysis and monitor KPIs evaluating discount trends and deal metrics.
Identify opportunities for automation, enhance current business rules, and implement workflow changes to optimize deal flow and minimize the sales cycle.
Maintain the internal Deal Desk policy and pricing repository, ensuring information is up-to-date and clearly communicated to the broader organization.
Mentor and support other Deal Desk team members as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required.
5+ years of relevant experience in Deal Desk, Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, Contract Management, or other related sales support functions within a B2b SaaS organization required.
Experience working in the EHR (Electronic Health Records) industry is highly desired.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) systems is strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Google Workspace suite of applications.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; brings a responsive, high-energy, "can-do" attitude to help sales teams close business efficiently.
Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and collaboration skills to effectively partner across the organization.
A highly organized self-starter who can manage multiple complex deals simultaneously.
Ability to travel occasionally as required by the business.
