We are seeking a midlevel Salesforce Developer (Contract) based in Colombia to support and extend a highly integrated Salesforce environment. This role is execution focused and ideal for a developer who is comfortable working in an established org, contributing both to day to day support and new development, while collaborating closely with an experienced Salesforce Developer and CRM leadership.
This is not an entry level role and not intended to be a long term architecture owner. The successful candidate will be hands on, pragmatic, and able to work semi independently within clearly defined priorities.
Deliver a mix of Salesforce support and new development, including urgent issue resolution (“firefighting”) and planned enhancements
Build, enhance, and maintain Apex based solutions, including batch processing and refactoring or scaling legacy low code automation where appropriate
Develop and optimize SOQL queries with performance and platform limits in mind
Implement and support Salesforce integrations, including custom API callouts and out of the box connectors
Work within a highly integrated ecosystem, supporting connections with systems such as:
Zoom Events
Bizzabo
CMS platforms
Internal integration bus
Sage Intacct
Fivetran
Collaborate closely with a seasoned Salesforce Developer who provides higher level technical direction and deep business context
Execute work primarily assigned by CRM leadership, with additional tasks flowing through a ticketing system for day today Salesforce needs
Document work clearly and follow established development and deployment practices
Salesforce Clouds in use:
Sales Cloud
Service Cloud
Revenue Cloud (new; not yet implemented)
Revenue Cloud experience is helpful but not required; exposure and willingness to learn are sufficient
2–4 years of hand son Salesforce development experience
This should not be your first Salesforce org
Strong experience with:
Apex (including Batch Apex)
SOQL
Salesforce integrations / APIs / callouts
Solid understanding of:
Salesforce governor limits
Order of execution
When to use declarative vs programmatic solutions
Ability to work semi independently, with occasional technical course correction and guidance
Proven ability to write clear, maintainable, and testable code
Comfort exploring and working on the API and integration layer
Strong English proficiency (written and spoken) for collaboration with cross functional teams
Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Prior exposure to Revenue Cloud

Salesforce Business Analyst
Reports directly to Director, CRM Operations
Works primarily with other developers in a collaborative engineering environment

Colombia based, ideally within a few hours of Eastern Time (Bogotá aligned time zones work well)

Is comfortable working in complex, integrated Salesforce environments
Can balance support work with forward looking development
Values clarity, pragmatism, and steady progress over overengineering
