Every day, financial institutions make consequential decisions about which businesses to onboard, extend credit to, and trust. Baselayer exists to make those decisions faster and more accurately. Our AI business identity platform is trusted by more than 2,200 financial institutions to verify any business, automate KYB, and monitor real-time risk. Our mission is to eliminate business fraud and lower the cost of trust across the financial system.
The team at Baselayer is built around people who care about getting things done right. We work closely with customers who have real compliance requirements and a limited tolerance for error, which means we move deliberately, communicate directly, and hold ourselves to a high standard. If you're someone who loves to take ownership and cares about the quality of what ships, let's chat!
We are looking for an Operations & Finance Manager to play a foundational role in building and scaling Baselayer’s financial and operational intelligence. This role will work across all functions including Finance, Operations, Sales, Product, and Engineering to improve how the company measures performance, makes decisions, and scales.
This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Head of Operations & Finance. You will own core financial processes, business intelligence tooling, and operational reporting, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and data integrity. You will also help develop recurring executive and board-level reporting.
This is not a plug-and-play analyst role. We are looking for someone who wants to build, improve, and own best-in-class financial and operational processes from the ground up.
Own the end-to-end revenue operations function, including pipeline management, forecasting, and GTM process design across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Build, maintain, and continuously improve core RevOps processes — lead routing, opportunity management, handoff workflows, and lifecycle stage definitions
Partner with GTM leadership to support territory planning, quota setting, capacity modeling, and headcount forecasting
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and auditability across all revenue-facing systems
Own and enhance Metabase dashboards, ensuring they are accurate, actionable, and trusted across the GTM org
Design and maintain SQL-based data models and reporting views to support pipeline, conversion, retention, and revenue reporting
Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical frameworks — funnel analysis, cohort performance, churn drivers, expansion trends
Own HubSpot as the system of record: data structure, lifecycle stages, pipeline configuration, and reporting integrity
Identify gaps and inefficiencies across the revenue tech stack and proactively propose and implement solutions
Act as the connective layer between Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Engineering when data or systems need alignment
Work closely with GTM leaders and ICs to surface insights, improve operational clarity, and accelerate revenue performance
Establish consistent definitions, metrics, and reporting standards across the revenue org — ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn, and pipeline coverage
Serve as a trusted operational partner who brings structure and clarity to complex go-to-market problems
2 to 5 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM Analytics, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven company
Highly advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
Highly advanced SQL skills, with experience writing complex, performant queries
Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards; Metabase strongly preferred
Deep hands-on experience with HubSpot — pipeline management, lifecycle configuration, and reporting
Experience supporting sales forecasting, quota modeling, or territory planning strongly preferred
You think out of the box and enjoy improving how things work rather than maintaining the status quo
You are proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating without detailed instructions
You care deeply about data quality, consistency, and trust
You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
You want to be foundational and help build something that lasts
You are highly analytical, deeply curious, and motivated by building systems that scale. You thrive in environments with ownership, ambiguity, and high expectations.
