We're looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Manager to join our marketing operations team on a 12 month contract basis. This is a hands-on role that keeps the operational engine of marketing running cleanly: the processes that make marketing work, the offers and promotions we take to clients, and the systems and data underneath them.
You'll own marketing's operating processes end to end, from how work comes in and gets prioritised, through briefing, approvals, and QA, to how it's tracked and delivered. You'll own the full offer and promotion lifecycle including fulfilment, partner with our CRM and delivery teams to take offers to market and keep our systems and data clean, and look after a slice of budget and vendor administration.
You'll need to be detail-obsessed and process-minded, organised and structured, commercially minded enough to know what matters, and confident enough to hold people accountable across teams you don't directly manage and to fix what's broken rather than just flag it.
Marketing operating processes: Design, document, and continuously improve the repeatable, scalable processes that keep marketing running, including intake, briefing, prioritisation, approvals, QA, and handoffs between teams, fixing the process rather than the symptom so work moves faster with fewer errors
Single marketing intake: Own the single intake process for marketing work, the central point through which requests enter, get assessed, and are allocated to the right team or workstream
Prioritisation and cadence: Maintain a single source of truth for marketing work, its status and priorities, and run the cadence that keeps leadership and the team aligned, including the fortnightly marketing program review, staying on top of priorities in between and keeping the highest-volume teams moving
Enablement: Train and support the marketing team on the processes and tools so new ways of working are actually adopted, not just documented
Delivery support: Help keep complex, cross-functional marketing work on track, holding a clear view of tasks, owners, timelines, and dependencies, surfacing blockers early and driving them to resolution rather than waiting
Offer and promotion management: Own the full lifecycle of client offers and promotions, from creation and approval through to fulfilment, tracking, and reconciliation, making sure offers promised to clients (bonus rates, referral incentives, cashback and the like) are honoured accurately, on time, and in a way that stands up to audit
Bringing offers to market: Work with our CRM Engagement Campaigns team to take offer campaigns to market, and with our CRM Journeys team to embed always-on offers into our automated client journeys
Systems and data hygiene: Partner with our Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud delivery resources to keep offer setup, audience data, segmentation, and reporting clean, reliable, and well governed
Budget and vendor operations: Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and day-to-day coordination with marketing operations vendors
Quality and compliance: Maintain QA and compliance checks across offer setup and fulfilment, including data privacy and consent obligations, catching errors before they reach a client
10+ years of marketing or marketing operations experience
Proven experience in a marketing operations role, ideally in financial services or payments, or another regulated, high-volume campaign environment
Process-minded, with a track record of designing and improving operating processes rather than fixing the same issue twice
Experience managing offers, promotions, or incentive programs from design through to fulfilment and reconciliation
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or an equivalent ESP), including building, QA-ing, and launching campaigns, and with Salesforce Data Cloud or another CDP
Experience keeping cross-functional work on track, with a structured approach to project tracking (Asana or equivalent)
Strong stakeholder management, comfortable influencing without authority and holding people accountable
Highly organised with sharp attention to detail, comfortable being the last check before something reaches a client
Comfortable with budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor coordination
Clear communicator who can work across marketing, data, product, and finance teams
Experience coordinating delivery from external agencies or contractor teams
Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a business that's scaling up its marketing operations
Comfortable using AI (Claude) to support marketing operations processes
