This role partners with business development, strategy, finance, and functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making, performance management, strategic enablement, and commercial growth across diverse markets. The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytics, financial modelling, and strategic insights to support business planning, resource allocation, frontline sales effectiveness, and cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities include delivering actionable insights through data analysis, dashboards, and performance reporting; conducting in-depth analysis of markets, clients, products, and revenue streams to identify growth opportunities; preparing profitability and sales performance reports; and developing reporting tools that translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations.
The role also supports strategic planning, governance, resource allocation, market research, financial modelling, and scenario analysis to inform business decisions. In addition, the individual will work closely with stakeholders across business development, finance, and operations, manage projects, facilitate presentations and workshops, and promote a strong performance culture.
A strong commercial mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while managing multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
The ideal candidate will have 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, 5 or more years with an advanced degree such as a Master's or MBA, or 2 years with a PhD.
Preference will be given to candidates with 9 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 7 or more years with an advanced degree, or 3 or more years with a PhD.
The role requires at least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, strategy, or performance management, ideally gained within consulting, banking, financial services, fintech, or payments environments.
An MBA or CFA qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modelling capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and project management tools.
Success in the role will require excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a strong commercial mindset, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong project management and organisational skills, capable of navigating complex and ambiguous situations while managing competing priorities.
Experience working in global or multinational environments and collaborating across different cultures is important, along with a demonstrated ability to build relationships, facilitate decision-making, and drive change within a matrix organisation.
Personally, the individual should be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, a strong sense of urgency, and the resilience and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
