We are seeking a proactive and business-focused Salesforce Administrator to join our Sales Operations team. This role will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing our Salesforce platform to improve sales efficiency, streamline business processes, and support cross-functional collaboration across the organization.
The ideal candidate will be based in Fremont, CA and would partner closely with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Engineering, Business Systems, and Salesforce Development teams to understand business needs, identify process improvements, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that drive operational excellence and enable revenue growth.
· Serve as the primary administrator for the Salesforce platform, supporting day-to-day system operations, user support, configuration, and platform enhancements
· Partner with Sales Operations leadership and Sales teams to improve workflows, automation, reporting, forecasting, pipeline visibility, and overall sales efficiency
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Engineering, Business Systems, and Salesforce Developers to gather business requirements and implement scalable CRM solutions aligned with operational processes
· Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, dashboards, and reports
· Develop reporting and dashboard solutions that support sales performance tracking, forecasting accuracy, and operational decision-making
· Maintain data integrity, governance standards, and system reliability across Salesforce and integrated business systems
· Support and coordinate Salesforce integrations, system enhancements, testing, release deployments, and change management activities
· Manage user onboarding, permissions, profiles, roles, training documentation, and end-user support
· Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce capabilities, best practices, and process improvements to continuously optimize the platform
· Preferred experience:
· Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience or
· Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience or
· PhD without experience or equivalent work experience
· Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
· Strong understanding of Sales Cloud and sales process optimization
· Experience in supporting Sales Operations, CRM strategy, or commercial operations teams
· Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning, Flow Builder, Reports, Dashboards, and automation tools
· Working knowledge of Apex code and Salesforce development concepts
· Experience working with REST APIs, integrations, and connected business systems in a Salesforce environment
· Experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders and translating operational requirements into technical solutions
· Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams including Salesforce Developers and Business Systems professionals
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
· Experience with Salesforce integrations and data management tools is a plus
· Experience supporting complex sales cycles, project-based businesses, or manufacturing/engineering organizations
· Familiarity with ERP or CPQ system integrations
· Knowledge of forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics
· Understanding of Agile or continuous improvement methodologies
· Basic knowledge of SOQL, APIs, or declarative development tools
· Improved Salesforce usability and adoption across Sales teams
· Increased efficiency in sales and operational workflows
· Created better visibility into pipeline, forecasting, and project execution data
· Strong cross-functional alignment between Sales and operational departments
· Effective partnership between Sales Operations, Business Systems, and Salesforce Development teams
· Reliable, scalable CRM processes that support company growth

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00-$105,000.00. (Applicable to California)
