We are looking for a Deal Desk Manager (m/f/d) to build and scale the Deal Desk function within our Revenue Operations team. You will work at the intersection of Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, Customer Operations and Systems, owning how commercial deals are structured, reviewed, approved and handed over. Your goal is to enable faster, more scalable commercial execution while maintaining pricing discipline, data quality and appropriate governance.

Design and continuously improve the Deal Desk operating model across intake, review, approval and handover
Establish pricing and discount guardrails, approval matrices and exception processes
Build scalable playbooks, templates and guidelines for standard and non-standard deals
Define KPIs and reporting around deal volume, cycle time, discounting, exceptions and bottlenecks
Act as the central point of contact for complex and non-standard New Business, Renewal and Expansion deals
Review pricing, discounts, contract terms, billing arrangements, term lengths and commercial exceptions
Advise Sales and Sales Leadership on deal structures while balancing customer needs, revenue objectives and company policies
Ensure deals are correctly structured, documented and approved before signature
Identify risks and downstream implications early and coordinate escalations across relevant stakeholders
Improve quote-to-order and quote-to-cash processes from a Deal Desk perspective
Partner with Revenue Operations and the CRM lead to improve Salesforce, quoting, contracting and approval workflows
Strengthen handovers into Customer Operations, Finance, Billing and Customer Success
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization and AI-supported workflows
Turn recurring deal patterns and exceptions into recommendations for pricing, packaging, processes and systems
Train Sales and customer-facing teams on Deal Desk processes, policies and best practices
Build self-service guidance so standard deals can move efficiently without unnecessary intervention
Establish clear escalation paths and service levels
Create transparency around deal requirements and approvals to improve velocity and predictability
Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product Operations and Customer Success
Bring structure to existing commercial processes without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
Work hands-on with individual deals to resolve issues and support transactions through completion
Distinguish between standard deals, justified exceptions and cases requiring escalation
Help position Deal Desk as an enabler of a scalable revenue engine
5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations or a comparable role in B2B SaaS or technology
Experience with complex B2B SaaS commercial structures across New Business, Renewals and Expansions
Proven experience building, redesigning or scaling operational processes, ideally in Deal Desk or commercial governance

Interest in automation and AI to make processes more scalable and self-service
Structured, pragmatic and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance commercial speed, customer needs and governance
Proactive and hands-on, with the motivation to build structure where not everything is defined
Comfortable moving between strategic process design and individual deal execution
Strong judgment around standards, exceptions and escalation
Continuous-improvement mindset focused on reducing friction and increasing scalability
Excellent stakeholder management skills across Sales, Finance, Legal, Customer Success, Customer Operations and senior leadership
Ability to advise commercial teams clearly on deal structures, trade-offs and options
