We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Sales Analyst to support and enhance our sales and key account management activities in Great Britain, Germany and the broader European region.
This role goes beyond traditional reporting and analytics — it is a strategic commercial position designed to directly support revenue growth, key account development, and competitive deal execution within the British & German solar markets.
The Sales Analyst will work closely with the regional Sales Managers and Key Account Managers to drive proposal excellence, optimize pricing strategies, improve forecasting accuracy, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
1. Sales Support & Commercial Execution
· Coordinate and manage the full sales proposal process, including quotation generation and commercial documentation.
· Support Sales and Key Account Managers in structuring competitive and profitable bids.
· Develop pricing models and financial analyses to ensure positive contribution margins.
· Provide creative input to bid strategy, scenario modeling, and commercial negotiations.
· Track and analyze opportunity pipelines to improve win rates and deal conversion.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Product Management to ensure competitive and executable offers.
· Support development of standardized proposal templates and bankability documentation.
· Collaborate with Marketing on customer presentations and localized value proposition materials.
· Ensure seamless communication between sales teams and internal departments to exceed customer expectations.
3. Key Account Management Support
· Partner closely with Key Account Managers to monitor account performance, pipeline development, and revenue growth.
· Prepare strategic account reviews, dashboards, and executive presentations.
· Analyze customer purchasing trends, contract performance, and margin evolution.
· Support long-term framework agreements and multi-project negotiations with major clients.
· Help identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
4. CRM, Reporting & Forecasting Excellence
· Maintain accurate sales data within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP tools.
· Generate regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards.
· Continuously improve CRM reporting tools, data quality, and automation processes.
· Analyze order intake, quotation activity, hit rates, and segment performance within the British and German markets.
· Support senior management with reliable commercial insights for strategic decision-making.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
· 3+ years of experience in sales analysis, commercial finance, business development, or program management.
· Ideally experience in the solar or RES industry for example with module, tracker, structure, inverter supplier.
· Strong focus and demonstrated exposure to Sales and/or Key Account Management support.
· Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
· Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and ERP tools.
· Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
· Mandatory: Fluent English and German (written and spoken), additional language skills in Spanish and other European languages are beneficial.
· Ability to translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations.
