Work Term: Winter 2027

The Sales Operations & Strategy Associate, Intern supports the Sales Operations & Strategy team with reporting, analysis, operational coordination and process improvement initiatives that enable the Sales organization.

The intern will work with the team and cross-functional partners to maintain accurate information, prepare business insights, coordinate recurring deliverables and improve how work is tracked, documented and completed.

The role will also support the responsible use of approved artificial intelligence, automation and digital tools to improve recurring activities. All outputs must be reviewed for accuracy, completeness, confidentiality and appropriate business use.

The Core Responsibilities of the Job

Sales Operations and Coordination

• Support recurring Sales Operations activities, reporting cycles and business reviews.
• Maintain trackers, working files, process documentation and other operational resources.
• Collect and consolidate updates from Sales teams and cross-functional partners.
• Track deliverables, owners, deadlines, risks and outstanding decisions.
• Assist with CRM data quality reviews, account information and related reporting activities.
• Support Sales events, expense tracking and other operational activities as required.

Reporting and Business Analysis

• Use Excel, Power BI, CRM platforms and other approved tools to prepare reports and identify trends.
• Review and organize data to support Sales planning and decision-making.
• Conduct market, competitor and business research.
• Summarize findings and translate information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Support the preparation of presentations, meeting materials and leadership updates.
• Perform quality checks to help ensure reports and materials are accurate and complete.

Process Improvement and AI Enablement

• Identify opportunities to simplify recurring Sales Operations processes using approved AI, automation and digital tools.
• Use approved AI tools to support research, analysis, summarization, documentation and reporting.
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs before they are used or shared.
• Follow applicable privacy, confidentiality, information security and responsible-use requirements.
• Help document repeatable processes and AI-enabled workflows.
• Support the testing, adoption and continuous improvement of new tools and processes.

Cross-Functional Support

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Credit, Operations and other business partners.
• Gather information and follow up on required inputs and deliverables.
• Communicate progress, issues and outstanding actions clearly and promptly.
• Contribute to additional Sales Operations and Strategy initiatives, as assigned.

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program in business, finance, analytics, marketing, technology or a related field.

• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

• Experience with Power BI, CRM platforms, databases or data-visualization tools is an asset.

• Interest in applying AI and automation to practical business problems.

• Ability to critically review AI-generated and data-based outputs for accuracy and completeness.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when appropriate.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners.
