As a Activation & Adoption Lead, you will operate in a dynamic, global environment, partnering with key functional leaders to drive the adoption of cutting-edge sales processes, tools, and AI-powered workflows that empower our global sales force.

Your Impact

  • You are a strategic Activation & Adoption lead responsible for the end-to-end adoption of critical sales initiatives. You will lead the design and execution of change initiatives that minimize friction and maximize the ROI of new sales initiatives. Your work directly influences the speed and effectiveness with which our global sales organization embraces new "ways of working," ensuring that AI-driven capabilities and process enhancements translate into measurable business outcomes.

  • Sales Transformation Strategy & Execution:

  • Own the end-to-end change management strategy for high-priority global sales initiatives, sales process and tool evolutions, enablement programs, and the integration of AI-powered workflows and capabilities.

  • Conduct comprehensive change impact assessments to identify risks, adoption barriers, and persona-specific resistance points across diverse global teams.

  • Develop and execute multi-channel change plans that integrate sponsorship, communication, training, and support to ensure seamless adoption.

  • Oversee the execution of change plans, monitoring adoption rates, gathering feedback, and proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful implementation of process, tool, and AI "ways of working".

  • Cross-Functional Execution & Integration:

  • Partner across Global Sales Planning & Operations, IT, Geo and Functions to ensure seamless integration and implementation of change initiatives.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate implementation risks, adjusting strategies in real-time to maintain momentum and minimize disruption to sales productivity.

  • Orchestrate the deployment of change interventions, ensuring consistent messaging and support across all global theaters.

  • Sponsorship & Champion Networks:

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with global sales stakeholders and leaders.

  • Partner with Sales Operations team to deliver strategies to enable Sales leadership to foster a culture of adoption, building buy-in at the executive level and ensuring alignment with geo/functional sales objectives.

  • Develop and deliver targeted, high-value training resources that focus on the practical application of new tools and AI capabilities, emphasizing the "what's in it for me" (WIIFM) for sellers.

  • Facilitate open dialogue, address concerns and objections related to sales process changes, tool adoption, and AI implementation with empathy and clarity.

  • Cultivate and manage a global network of "Change Champions" to drive grassroots advocacy and peer-to-peer support.

  • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

  • Define and track critical KPIs (e.g., tool utilization, process adherence, and AI adoption rates) to measure the success of transformation initiatives and business outcomes.

  • Analyze post-implementation data and qualitative feedback to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and iterate on change strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Translate complex technical and process data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS (or equivalent) with 5+ years of proven experience in Change Management, Sales Operations, or Organizational Development.

  • Demonstrated success in leading complex, large-scale organizational transformations within a global, matrixed environment.

  • Deep expertise in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR).

  • Strong proficiency in program management tools and data analytics/visualization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) are highly preferred.

  • Experience in driving the adoption of AI-powered workflows, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), or complex sales enablement technology.

  • Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus across diverse geographical and functional teams.

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in a related field.

Stratégie et exécution de la transformation des ventes : Diriger la stratégie de gestion du changement de bout en bout pour les initiatives de vente mondiales prioritaires, l’évolution des processus et des outils de vente, les programmes de formation et l’intégration des flux de travail et des capacités alimentés par l’IA. Développer et exécuter des plans de changement multicanaux intégrant commandite, communication, formation et soutien pour assurer une adoption sans faille. Superviser l’exécution des plans de changement, surveiller les taux d’adoption, recueillir les commentaires et relever de façon proactive les défis afin d’assurer la réussite de la mise en œuvre des nouvelles façons de travailler en matière de processus, d’outils et d’IA.

Exécution et intégration interfonctionnelles : Collaborer avec la planification et les opérations des ventes mondiales, les TI, les régions géographiques et les fonctions pour assurer une intégration et une mise en œuvre harmonieuses des initiatives de changement. Identifier et atténuer de façon proactive les risques liés à la mise en œuvre, en ajustant les stratégies en temps réel pour maintenir l’élan et minimiser les perturbations de la productivité des ventes. The starting salary range posted for this position is $111,200.00 to $140,800.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.

Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.

U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco’s plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.

U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies:

  • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees

  • 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco

  • Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees

  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)

  • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next

  • Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members

  • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

  • .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

  • 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

  • 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and

  • Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below:

New York City Metro Area:

$132,300.00 - $200,100.00

Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:

$117,300.00 - $219,300.00

* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
