About the Role:

As a Business Systems Analyst at JumpCloud, you will be a key player in optimizing our internal business platforms, with a primary focus on Salesforce and Data Analysis. This role is based in India and is essential for driving efficiency and success across our global operations. You will act as a vital liaison between our business stakeholders and our technical teams, ensuring our systems are not only functional but are also constantly evolving to meet the complex demands of our business. About the Team:

We are a highly collaborative, globally distributed Enterprise Systems Engineering team. We are responsible for the reliability of our core enterprise applications. Our team spans multiple time zones, and we thrive on trust, accountability, and seamless asynchronous communication. We operate with deep customer empathy and a discovery-driven mindset, and we work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, and Customer Success to achieve our goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Solution Design and Process Improvement: Analyze and map existing business processes, identify pain points, and propose and implement improvements. You will design and configure workflows, form customizations, and take the lead on turning functional requirements into technical documents.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Respond to support tickets and user inquiries promptly, troubleshoot system and process issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.
  • Salesforce Configuration and Management: Take ownership of Salesforce configuration, including data models, permissions, layouts, workflows, and validation rules, to meet business needs.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends and insights, build reports and dashboards, and ensure data integrity. Utilize tools like SQL (preferred), SOQL, Salesforce Reporting, Tableau (optional), and Excel for advanced analysis.
  • Testing and Documentation: Perform thorough acceptance testing of new system features and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and processes.
  • Drive Process Excellence with AI: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI to automate repetitive analysis, streamline documentation workflows, and uncover deeper data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Project Leadership: Work on and manage small and medium-sized projects, and contribute to larger projects with significant peer and manager support. You will provide leadership and technical guidance to less experienced analysts, helping them grow their skills and knowledge.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. You will be expected to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, and provide training and documentation to end-users.

We’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on Salesforce.
  • Proven experience in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise business system capabilities, especially Salesforce and related GTM tools.
  • Expertise in Salesforce configuration, including data models, permissions, layouts, workflows, and validation rules. Salesforce Administrator Certified.
  • Proficiency in SOQL and SQL, with the ability to analyze data, join tables, and identify discrepancies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in asynchronous work environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for process mapping and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Certifications.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience with NetSuite, MuleSoft, and a broader set of GTM applications.
