The Senior Sales Operations Consultant is a key operational partner to the API Sales organisation, responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of sales commission processes, quota management, and operational reporting. This role works at the intersection of Sales, Finance, HR, and BI, providing the analytical rigour and process discipline that underpins sales performance and compensation integrity across the API Business Unit.
The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in sales compensation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, and will be comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
Own end-to-end commission management for the API Business Unit - calculation, processing, plan transitions, and UAT testing in Xactly Incent
Maintain HR commission file weekly - new joiners, LOAs, promotions, transfers, and terminations
Support quota planning and management - quota assignments by region and rep, adjustments, and ramp-up configurations
Prepare and distribute reports and analytics - commission payouts, attainment summaries, and budget vs. actuals for Sales and Finance leadership
Act as primary point of contact for Sales, Finance, and HR on all commission and quota matters; drive process improvements and ensure compliance
2–3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Compensation, or a related analytical role.
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end commission processes, including plan administration and payout calculations.
Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, data modelling, and pivot tables, use of AI.
Experience working with commission management platforms (Xactly Incent preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
Excellent attention to detail with a track record of high accuracy in data-intensive environments.
Strong communication skills — able to explain complex compensation rules clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced, global organisation.
Experience in a CPaaS, SaaS, or technology company.
Familiarity with API/Communications products and sales motions.
Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau.
Experience supporting commission plan design or year-over-year plan transitions.
