Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt Compensation: $120-$130k starting salary Work Model: Hybrid (virtual and in-person delivery); requires a quiet, professional remote facilitation environment Location: Must live in New York City; Boston; Philadelphia; or New Jersey Travel: Up to ~50%. The Manager, Facilitation Development & GTM Partner at LifeLabs Learning is responsible for driving engagement, performance, and development of the facilitation team. This role manages and coaches a full-time facilitation team and part-time and/or contract team in either the East or Central & West region, supports client-specific engagements, and works cross-functionally with the Manager, Facilitation Development & Team Enablement Partner, senior leaders, and client-facing teams. This role owns GTM focused projects that require facilitation experience and leadership, aligned to product roadmap, team enablement roadmap, department goals, business priorities, and the Director of Facilitation’s vision. This role reports to the Director, Leadership Development and Facilitation.
Purpose: Cultivate world-class Facilitation Teams by driving team participation, engagement, and performance, continuous learning, and inclusion and belonging.
Lead team members to be successful in their role, overcome obstacles, identify opportunities, and own next steps
Hold regular 1:1 conversations to review client and learner outcomes, improve facilitation craft, solve challenges, clarify thinking, identify priorities, and develop individual skills
Review and give monthly and as-needed feedback on role performance and deliberate development
Model our feedback culture by: giving and receiving feedback related to client outcomes, core roles, and the broader facilitation team, product department, and company.
Work with the Director of Facilitation and other leaders as needed to drive positive outcomes in unique, challenging, and/or high-consequence staff issues and opportunities
Shadow facilitators to observe their work, share resources, and identify broader patterns around delivery skills and facilitation
Support the Director of Facilitation in hiring and onboarding
Purpose: Partner with other GTM leads across the business to drive team enablement and readiness, new product and feature adoption, fast follows and rapid iteration, and client outcomes.
Work with the Director, Leadership Development and Facilitation and Manager, Facilitation Development & Team Enablement Partner to identify specific GTM initiatives aligned to the product and team enablement roadmaps
Work with GTM partners across the business to build GTM readiness for particular launches as well as ongoing GTM capability
Facilitate GTM client events for the purposes of informing and educating our client base about new products or features (workshops, programs, assessments, etc.)
Support GTM readiness by facilitating client-facing teams enablement workshops (e.g. sales, marketing, client support & logistics, facilitation, etc.)
Identify skill and internal facilitation team capability gaps related to new products and feature adoption in order to prioritize team learning and development initiatives based on business needs, learner outcomes, facilitator feedback, and quality metrics.
Review client feedback (qualitative and quantitative) about the facilitated learning experience and produce analysis and insights for facilitation, product, and executive teams to understand strengths, opportunities, and gaps in our delivery of new learning experiences
Project manage GTM initiatives for the facilitation team in partnership with other roles and functions and own timelines, deadlines, and outcomes
Champion and model by example technology usage in a remote environment to drive business outcomes (e.g. reporting and insights tools, AI enabled workflows, delivery platforms, CRM, video communications, etc.)
Purpose: Serve as a public representative of facilitation at LifeLabs Learning and support direct client engagements in partnership with other client-facing teams.
Give recommendations to the Director of Facilitation on client-specific facilitator staffing plans for strategic accounts from your team as requested
Facilitate experimental and new content experiences to develop and test GTM readiness strategies, content, and materials needed to equip the rest of the facilitation team
Facilitate marketing, field, and strategic client events as identified by commercial teams
Create multimedia content that supports GTM and ongoing client engagement
Facilitator engagement scores for your team
Learning feedback rates for your team
Facilitator readiness for new product and feature launches as well as new internal systems launches
Consistently hit facilitation GTM roadmap timelines, deliverables, and outcomes
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in fields of organizational development, education, behavioral science, psychology, management science, or related social sciences.
A minimum of prior experience leading project teams or programs required. Preferred prior experience managing facilitators, teachers, coaches, and/or trainers.
3 + years’ expertise in facilitation, teaching, and presenting in a full-time professional capacity. Experience teaching adult learners about workplace related topics preferred.
Strong project management and execution skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Understand business principles and priorities (e.g. budgeting, resourcing teams, strategic planning, etc.) and demonstrate ability to grow as a business leader
Willing to travel, up to 15% of the time
Because Facilitators and Facilitation Managers are trained extensively in proprietary LifeLabs methodologies and client relationships, employment includes agreements related to:
protection of confidential information,
ownership of facilitation materials created during employment, and
limitations on delivering substantially similar training services outside LifeLabs during employment and for a defined post-employment period.
These agreements are designed to protect both our intellectual property and the significant investment we make in facilitator development. We share this upfront so candidates can assess alignment early.
