Engage customer stakeholders to understand data-related business outcomes, reporting needs, and define measurable success criteria for data quality, completeness, and accessibility
Articulate the value of data-driven Salesforce solutions, including data governance, migration strategies, and analytics capabilities
Lead discovery and data assessment sessions to inventory legacy systems, data sources, data quality issues, and transformation requirements
Analyze, profile, and map source data to Salesforce data models, identifying relationships, dependencies, and data integrity constraints
Perform detailed data mapping, transformation logic definition, and reconciliation planning between source and target systems
Conduct fit-gap analysis between existing data structures and Salesforce standard/custom objects and recommend optimal data model design
Define and document data migration strategies, including data cleansing, deduplication, enrichment, and validation processes
Develop and maintain data migration artifacts such as data dictionaries, mapping documents, conversion plans, and reconciliation reports
Collaborate with technical teams to execute data migrations using tools such as Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, ETL platforms, and integration frameworks
Design and validate test scenarios for data migration, including unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Monitor and resolve data migration issues, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rules
Support the development of reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions to enable business insights and performance tracking
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders in an Agile or Hybrid-Agile environment to iteratively refine data requirements and deliverables
Develop data governance frameworks, including data stewardship roles, data quality standards, and ongoing data maintenance processes
Deliver training and documentation to enable end users to effectively manage and utilize migrated data within Salesforce
Work with the Guidehouse Project Manager to manage data migration activities within scope, budget, and timeline expectations
BA/BS degree
A minimum of FIVE (5) years of work experience, with a strong focus on data analysis and migration projects
Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and accelerators to automate data profiling, mapping, cleansing, and validation, and to enhance data quality insights and migration outcomes
Minimum of ONE (1) current Salesforce Certification (Admin, App Builder, or relevant Cloud certification) is preferred
Hands-on experience with Salesforce data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Workbench)
Experience with data migration methodologies, including profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation
Experience working with large datasets, multiple legacy systems, and complex data transformations
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and data architecture principles
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent) and integration patterns
Experience performing data quality analysis, including deduplication, normalization, and enrichment strategies
Experience writing data mapping documents, migration plans, and reconciliation reports
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices
Experience supporting testing cycles (SIT, UAT) with a focus on data validation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience working in Agile or Hybrid-Agile environments
US Citizenship is contractually required for this role
Ability to work in a hybrid environment
Experience in a “Big 4” or equivalent consulting firm and/or Salesforce Platinum partner
Experience with public sector clients, especially involving legacy system modernization and data conversion efforts
Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Health Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud data models
Familiarity with MuleSoft or other integration platforms for data orchestration
Experience supporting large-scale data migrations (millions of records, multiple systems)
Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, CRM Analytics)
Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and tools
Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
MBA preferred
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
