As Salesforce Administrator, you’ll support a Salesforce-centered modernization and digital transformation program. This role will focus on configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Salesforce platform to improve mission outcomes, streamline business processes, and enhance user experience.
The ideal candidate will operate within an AI-enabled environment, leveraging intelligent automation, low-code/no-code tools, and AI-assisted administration capabilities to rapidly deliver scalable, user-focused solutions. This individual will play a key role in platform governance, data integrity, and continuous improvement while enabling business teams through efficient and secure Salesforce operations.

Configure, administer, and maintain the Salesforce platform to support mission-critical business processes and modernization initiatives.
Build and enhance solutions using declarative tools including Flows, approval processes, validation rules, and object configurations.
Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing models to ensure appropriate access, security, and compliance.
Support and optimize business processes through workflow automation, case management, and process improvements within Salesforce.
Configure and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide operational insights and support decision-making.
Ensure data integrity through data management activities including data imports, deduplication, cleansing, and governance.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution of platform-related problems.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
Leverage AI-assisted administrative tools and intelligent automation to streamline repetitive tasks, enhance productivity, and improve platform management.
Support AI-enabled features and tools within Salesforce, including automation recommendations, predictive insights, and intelligent workflows.
Assist in managing integrations with other enterprise systems by coordinating with development and integration teams.
Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, user guides, and governance policies.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story development.
Ensure adherence to security, governance, accessibility, and compliance standards.
Identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and adoption of emerging Salesforce capabilities.
Provide user support, training, and enablement to maximize platform adoption and usability.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
Active Secret clearance.
Must be local to the DMV area with the ability to support onsite requirements in Washington, DC.
Salesforce Administrator Certification.
Demonstrated experience administering Salesforce in enterprise or government environments.
3–5 years of experience administering Salesforce in enterprise environments.
Strong experience with Salesforce configuration including objects, fields, page layouts, Flows, validation rules, and reports/dashboards.
Experience managing users, security models, and data access controls.
Experience supporting business process automation and workflow optimization within Salesforce.
Experience with data management, including imports, exports, data quality, and governance.
Experience working in Agile environments supporting continuous delivery and iterative improvements.
Familiarity with AI-assisted administration tools, automation platforms, or intelligent workflow solutions.
Understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
Understanding of security, compliance, and governance within Salesforce environments.
SALARY RANGE: $110,000 – $129,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
Performance-based bonuses
