The Salesforce Team is part of the Commercial Excellence department that acts as the strategic business partner to the sales, marketing, service, and order fulfillment organization. The team supports the global business and support functions by optimizing the go-to market approach, enabling back-office processes, and striving to improve existing commercial and after-market processes.
You will join a passionate Salesforce team that is responsible for a highly customized Salesforce instance with more than 1,700 users. You will be working in a local team of administrators in a larger multinational Salesforce team with an Architect, Developers, and Business Analysts.
This role combines hands-on administration with leadership responsibilities, guiding a local team of Salesforce administrators and collaborating with stakeholders across departments. Together with your team you will manage our internal Salesforce help desk and ensure platform performance. You will also play an important role in post-merger integration projects, focusing primarily on data migration. You have a good understanding of the Salesforce platform and can identify and drive improvements.
Together with our Business Analysts and Developers you’ll be part of Salesforce projects to improve existing or establish new features.
Lead and mentor a team of approximately three Salesforce administrators. Foster professional growth and knowledge sharing
Ensure timely delivery of support requests.
Own the administration and user support process, set up and maintain governance structures, documentation and best practices
Act as SCRUM master for the larger Salesforce team
Plan and deliver data migration tasks as part of post-merger integration projects
Support help desk operations and platform administration, which includes user account management, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings
Provide ongoing support and training to end users, including day-to-day support, the creation and delivery of training materials, demoing new features, documentation maintenance, and troubleshooting
Occasionally perform and guide on Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flows, page layouts, fields and record types, reports and dashboards, approval processes, lead assignment rules, CPQ product configurator
Improve business productivity, efficiency, and performance through critical evaluation of information gathered from multiple sources and making suggestions for improvements
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience. Experience in a leadership role preferred
Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security, and automation tools, and of Salesforce core features within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Salesforce CPQ, marketing automation and Experience Cloud knowledge preferred.
Certified Salesforce Administrator. Advanced Administrator or other relevant certifications are a strong plus.
Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with international end-users and in cross-functional project teams
Structured and accurate mode of operation, creativity and "out-of-the-box” thinking
Proficient English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Please note that this position requires you to work 3 days per week onsite in our Porto office, so it cannot be carried out fully remotely.
