Philips Canada is inviting Business & Commercial Operations intern(s) to join us for a four‑month, hands‑on experience, with interns working at least three (3) days per week on site from either our Mississauga office on Buckhorn Gate or the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital location, depending on role and weekly assignment.

Successful candidates will work alongside both the Services & Solutions Delivery team and the Commercial/Sales Excellence organization through August. They will gain exposure to business operations, commercial strategy, and sales excellence, while learning the tools and techniques used to improve performance, strengthen operations, and bring meaningful innovation to market.

Your role

  • Analytics, Reporting & Insights: Gather, organize, and analyze operational and sales performance data. Prepare dashboards, KPI summaries, scorecards, and executive-ready insights. Assist with CRM and operational data quality reviews. Support trend analysis, sales pipeline reviews, and performance reporting.

  • Business Operations & Process Improvement: Support operational planning, KPI tracking, workflow documentation, and meeting preparation. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including SharePoint cleanup and documentation structuring. Assist with operational readiness tasks supporting customer satisfaction and compliance.

  • Project Coordination & Administrative Support: Assist with documentation, scheduling, task tracking, and progress monitoring. Participate in planning sessions and project review meetings. Support project documentation, follow-up activities, and cross-functional communication.

  • Sales Excellence & Strategic Account Support: Help develop sales resources and tools such as dashboards and forecasting summaries. Support account planning research including competitive and organizational profiling. Contribute to executive-ready materials, training content, and meeting summaries.

You're the right fit if:

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a business-related program from an accredited university or college program

  • Has strong communication and organizational skills and is interested in business operations, commercial strategy, or healthcare innovation

  • Has experience with Excel (intermediate to advanced), and an interest in data analysis, dashboards, and reporting

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • Is motivated to contribute to initiatives such as dashboard creation, sales performance reporting, process improvement projects, account research and supporting the team with executive ready materials

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Pay Transparency Details

This role is paid at $24.00 per hour (gross, CAD) for a 37.5‑hour work week.

Additional Information

Canadian work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Mississauga office or the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital location, depending on role and weekly assignment.
