Reporting to the Salesforce Platform Manager, we are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders and third‑party providers to deliver high‑quality Salesforce solutions and operate as a solutions-focused engineer, not just a developer. As Salesforce is a critical platform for managing our student experience at OES, this role plays a key part in enabling teams to deliver exceptional service and outcomes.
Deliver ongoing Salesforce enhancements and custom development
Provide Salesforce administration and platform support
Identify, implement and optimise Salesforce workflows and processes
Investigate and resolve data issues, addressing root causes
Liaise with third‑party development partners
Conduct functionality walkthroughs and knowledge sharing for new and existing staff
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform
You’re a hands‑on Senior Developer who enjoys working autonomously while collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders. You’re comfortable translating technical solutions into business outcomes and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
4–6 years’ experience in the CRM domain, with 3+ years in Salesforce implementations
Strong experience across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience (Community) Cloud
Advanced skills in Apex (classes, triggers, test methods), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, SOQL and SOSL
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Hands‑on integration experience using REST APIs and OAuth
Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, governor limits and security
Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II highly regarded)
