Who are we?

Smarsh empowers its customers to manage risk and unleash intelligence in their digital communications. Our growing community of over 6500 organizations in regulated industries counts on Smarsh every day to help them spot compliance, legal or reputational risks in 80+ communication channels before those risks become regulatory fines or headlines. Relentless innovation has fueled our journey to consistent leadership recognition from analysts like Gartner and Forrester, and our sustained, aggressive growth has landed Smarsh in the annual Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing American companies since 2008.

Summary

Smarsh is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to join our team. Own Salesforce administration with a focus on Agentforce/AI solutions. Partner with business leaders to identify high-ROI AI use cases, build/enable Agentforce capabilities, and handle core admin/release duties (config, security, data quality, troubleshooting).

How will you contribute?

  • Agentforce & AI delivery
  • Translate business pain points into AI/Agentforce use cases; define success metrics/ROI.
  • Configure and manage Agentforce (skills, prompts, guardrails, data sources/grounding, evaluation).
  • Build flows/automation, next-best-actions, and knowledge integrations that improve the customer experience on our support portal or seller/CSM productivity.
  • Establish AI governance (privacy, safety, compliance), quality monitoring, and continuous improvement loops.
  • Core Salesforce administration
  • Coordinate with the technical and business architect roles to adjust user/role/profile/permission set architecture, SSO, and field-level security.
  • Configure objects, flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, dynamic forms, and Lightning apps.
  • Sandbox strategy, change management, and release orchestration (e.g., Gearset/Copado).
  • Data stewardship: dedupe, Data Loader, backup/restore, and data quality dashboards.
  • Incident response; root-cause analysis and preventive fixes; clear documentation/runbooks.
  • Business partnership
  • Work with our Global Support group and AI initiatives, Sales, Success, RevOps/Finance, and other groups to prioritize a value-based backlog.
  • Build lightweight BRDs/solution designs; run enablement and office hours; track adoption and ROI.
  • Revenue Cloud / CPQ (a big plus)
  • Support quoting/bundle structure discussions, approvals, and order flows (if experienced).
  • Understand downstream impacts to billing, revenue recognition, and ERP handoffs.

What will you bring?

  • 7โ€“10 years hands-on Salesforce administration in complex, multi-org or multi-cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated AI/Agentforce exposure (pilot or production) โ€” e.g., prompt/skill design, grounding data, evaluation & safety patterns.
  • 3+ Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
  • Bonus: AI Associate/AI Specialist, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud; CPQ/Revenue Cloud certs are a plus.
  • Strong Flow expertise
  • A big plus if comfortable reading Apex/SOQL (light edits/debugging a plus).
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to quantify ROI and drive adoption.
  • Familiarity with change/release tooling (Gearset/Copado), Git, and Dev/SIT/UAT processes.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and documentation skills in English.
  • College degree
  • Exposure to CPQ/Revenue Cloud concepts (bundles, pricing, approvals) and downstream impacts to billing/rev-rec preferred.
  • Experience with other CRM/ERP (NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Oracle, SAP) and integration patterns (MuleSoft, Boomi, APIs) preferred.
  • BI/reporting familiarity (Salesforce reports/dashboards; understanding of how data feeds finance/ERP) preferred.
  • Security & compliance awareness (PII, SOC2, GDPR), and AI guardrail best practices preferred.
