PPG is looking for a Salesforce Platform Administrator to join our team. This role is the operational backbone of our Salesforce platform. You will be the go-to expert for everything that does not require code. This is a hybrid role at our headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA and you will report to the Group Product Manager, CRM.
Manage configuration, settings, and declarative features across all 8 global business units on a single org
Support business units in user lifecycle management: profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules
Support Business Unit specific rollouts while maintaining org-wide governance and data integrity
Configure and maintain declarative automation such as approval processes, action plan templates, validation rules
Handle all standard configuration requests: Lightening apps, navigation, page layouts, record types, list views, user interface enhancements and application settings
Ensure consistent configuration aligned with global standards across all business units.
Manage case routing, queues, entitlements, Case escalation rules, knowledge article types, global approval workflow designs and all service console configuration
Support business units in user lifecycle management: profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules
Hande all standard configuration requests: Lightening apps, navigation, page layouts, record types, list views, user interface enhancements and application settings
Ensure consistent configuration aligned with global standards across all business units.
Act as the platform administrator for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud environments
Support 3 business units currently on Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), including lead scoring, form management & campaign operations
Oversee contact builder configuration, and basic journey administration
Coordinate with the technical team on Data Cloud segment and data stream setup
Own the non-technical layer of Agentforce: agent setup, topic configuration, and prompt template authoring
Work with business stakeholders to define, document, and configure agent use cases without developer dependency
Maintain prompt libraries and iterate on agent instructions based on business feedback
Serve as the first line of evaluation for new Agentforce use cases before technical build decisions are made
Build and maintain reports and dashboards across all clouds to meet business unit reporting requirements
Manage data quality operations including duplicate rules, validation logic, and import/export processes
Maintain org-wide documentation including metadata inventories, change logs, and configuration records
Monitor and enforce platform governance standards across all business units
5+ years hands-on Salesforce administration in a complex, enterprise or multi-BU environment
Required Salesforce certifications:
Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201)
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Demonstrated experience managing Sales Cloud at scale on a single org across multiple business units, including role hierarchies, territory management, permission sets, and sharing model design
Strong command of declarative automation: Flow Builder, approval processes, assignment rules, validation rules, and action plan templates
Hands-on experience with Service Cloud: case management, queue configuration, Omni-Channel routing, entitlement processes, and knowledge base administration
Working knowledge of Marketing Cloud Engagement including account setup, data extensions, and Marketing Cloud Connect health monitoring
Experience administering MCAE (Pardot) across multiple business units including connector management, lead scoring, automation rules, tracker domains, and sync monitoring
Familiarity with Data Cloud concepts: data streams, data model objects, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation
Ability to assess any incoming request and determine confidently whether it requires configuration, declarative automation, or escalation to a developer
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agentforce including agent setup, topic and action configuration, and prompt template authoring
Hands-on Data Cloud experience: configuring data streams, DMO mappings, identity resolution rules, and building segments
Experience supporting global rollouts across multiple business units and managing post-go-live improvement cycles
Background working alongside SI partners (e.g. Accenture, EPAM) in a governed delivery model
Experience operating within a Salesforce Centre of Excellence (CoE) governance model
Familiarity with Salesforce seasonal release management: sandbox strategy, testing, and change communication
