DESCRIPTION: Join Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, where you'll support critical sales operations initiatives that enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. As a Sales Operations Analyst I, you'll support cross-functional teams in managing contract proposals, tender submissions, and budget processes with meticulous attention to detail. Coordinate sales activities, from initial opportunity identification through contract execution, while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery against deadlines. Create positive impact by optimizing processes, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's Degree required
Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
Additional professional certifications or training in relevant areas preferred
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, QAD) preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organizational and project management capabilities with focus on meeting deadlines
Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to accuracy and quality control
Ability to work effectively in a results-oriented environment
Knowledge of commercial sales operations, revenue recognition, and contract management principles
Use financial acumen to support commercial on deal analysis
Perform margin analysis on deals, provide pricing and deal structure recommendations to sales
Liaise with global business unit teams on big deal approval
Support APAC commercial managers in NPI and Promotions
Work out the margins for NPI and Promotions
Provide recommendations on pricing
Support Annual List Price exercise for APAC countries
Partner with global and APAC commercial managers to provide list price increase recommendations to countries
Provide margin and realized price analysis on list price recommendations
Work APAC and Country commercial teams to finalize list prices
Professional fluency in English required; additional language skills valued
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and process improvement mindset
Strong customer service orientation with focus on building collaborative relationships
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data integrity
