State Street Investment Management’s Client Coverage Group (CCG) is responsible for global distribution activities across client segments, channels, and regions, including new business development, relationship management, marketing, and sales operations.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Head(s) of the Client Coverage Group (CCG) and the Head of CCG Strategy and Operations, with accountability for shaping, executing, and evolving distribution strategy at scale. You will help guide strategic direction and drive end‑to‑end ownership of high‑impact operational and business initiatives that improve distribution team effectiveness, accelerate business performance, and deliver measurable outcomes for sales teams globally.
You will work closely with regional executives across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, operating as a trusted advisor and connective leader across functions to translate strategic priorities into executable plans. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence, exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and influence senior stakeholders while executing on complex, cross‑regional initiatives.
In addition, you will partner with CCG leadership to shape the long‑term strategic vision and translate that vision into business‑level strategies and annual execution plans. You will represent Strategy & Operations in executive forums, providing clear point‑of‑view, structured problem‑solving, and actionable recommendations to inform decision‑making.
Partner with CCG senior leadership to define, execute, and optimize our global distribution strategy, including regional, channel, and opportunity‑specific strategies aligned to firm‑level and enterprise objectives
Own and drive execution of complex, global distribution initiatives ensuring alignment and accountability across sales leadership, CBO, COO, and other key partners
Establish and manage key performance indicators (including OKRs) to track progress against strategic objectives, surface risks, and drive course‑correction
Partner with regional leads on annual and ongoing business planning and commercial strategy development, ensuring consistency and scalability across regions
Drive business process optimization and cross‑business initiatives that improve operational efficiency, client experience, and commercial outcomes, including initiatives related to structural change, innovation, and AI enablement
Act as a recognized enterprise voice of CCG’s distribution strategy, ensuring consistent understanding of priorities, value proposition, and execution expectations across senior stakeholders and key partners
10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, financial services, or asset management, with demonstrated progression in scope, influence, and impact
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline required
Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor or player/coach, managing complex initiatives with significant autonomy and accountability
Strong strategic, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive‑ready recommendations
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with experience engaging, advising, and constructively challenging senior leaders
Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast‑paced, global environment
$115,000 - $205,000 Annual
