Business Overview Rakuten Mobile launched its full-scale service in April 2020 as the fourth MNO (Mobile Network Operator) in Japan—the first to be approved in 13 years—with the goal of providing high-quality mobile communication services at fair prices.
In February 2025, we surpassed 8.5 million subscriptions, and in December 2025, we achieved 10 million subscriptions. We also began full-scale service provision for corporate clients in January 2023. As a core business driving the future growth of the Rakuten Group, we are making large-scale investments, attracting significant attention both domestically and internationally.

Department Overview This department provides mobile services and solutions to corporate clients. By leveraging Rakuten Mobile and other group assets, we partner with corporate clients to identify and solve their diverse challenges, empowering them along the way.
About the Sales Planning & Management Group, Operation Strategy Team We are primarily responsible for building and improving sales processes within the Corporate Sales Department. We develop and execute strategies across all aspects of sales operations, supporting the foundation of our sales activities, ranging from lead generation and negotiations to contracts and the management of outstanding receivables. This team allows you to contribute to revenue growth, operational efficiency, and increased customer satisfaction through your own proposals.

Mission To improve the sales organization's processes and enhance sales productivity to ensure the Rakuten Mobile Corporate Sales organization achieves its goals.
- Building new sales processes - Improving existing sales processes - Building and improving other operational processes- Supporting the construction of field sales coordination operations following inbound lead acquisition. - Building and supporting the operation of processes for referring corporate clients from various Rakuten Group business units to Rakuten Mobile. - Redesigning and managing meeting structures within the Sales Department.
Work Environment 2 members
- Experience participating in business process improvement projects.
- Ability to communicate smoothly with various stakeholders and demonstrate a spirit of cooperation.
- Experience with requirements definition or development of SFA tools (e.g., Salesforce, kintone).
- Experience working with various digital tools (e.g., Power Automate, Alteryx, Blue Prism).
- At least 1 year of experience in corporate planning, sales promotion, or business planning.
- Physically and mentally healthy, with the flexibility to adapt to changing environments.
- Highly motivated to learn new things and proactive in taking on unfamiliar challenges.
