You will own the measurement and data capture layer across Redbubble and TeePublic. That means server-side tagging, pixel infrastructure, CDP event pipelines, and the consent and governance layer that sits under all of it.
You will work closely with marketing, product, and the data engineering team to ensure events are accurate, governed, and activated reliably.
This is a hands-on IC role. You will not just maintain existing infrastructure. You will design it, document it, and set the bar for how data flows from user action to platform
Own server-side GTM configuration across both brands, including container setup, tag templates, and routing logic
Maintain and extend client-side and server-side pixel implementations for Google, Meta, and other ad platforms
Manage tag governance: naming conventions, versioning, deprecation, and audit trails
Debug measurement gaps and signal loss across the funnel
Build and maintain RudderStack source configurations, transformations, and destination routing
Own the event schema: instrumentation specs, validation rules, data dictionary
Triage and resolve event quality issues across web, app, and backend sources
Support consent management integration with the tagging layer (OneTrust or equivalent)
Build and maintain ingestion pipelines using Funnel.io, Fivetran, or equivalent tools for external marketing datasets (spend data, platform reporting, offline data)
Ensure ingested data lands in the warehouse with consistent schema, provenance tagging, and refresh cadence documentation
Support campaign attribution and funnel reporting by ensuring upstream data quality
Partner with analytics on event taxonomy and metric definitions
Full audit of current RudderStack event coverage against the event spec, gaps documented
Server-side GTM containers reviewed and tag inventory published
At least one Fivetran or Funnel.io integration pipeline owned end to end
Consent handling gaps identified and a remediation plan in Jira
5-7 years in measurement engineering, MarTech data capture, or a closely related role
Hands-on server-side GTM: container management, custom tag templates, routing to downstream endpoints
RudderStack or equivalent CDP: source config, transformations, destination management
Strong understanding of consent signal handling and its effect on measurement (GDPR, CCPA)
SQL proficiency and Python for pipeline logic, transformations, and debugging
Experience integrating third-party data via tools like Fivetran, Funnel.io, or direct API
Experience with both Google and Meta pixel and conversion API implementations
Familiarity with identity resolution concepts and how they intersect with server-side measurement
Exposure to Airflow or another orchestration tool for scheduling ingestion jobs
Ecommerce or marketplace background
