Our client, a global leader in digital payments and financial services, is seeking a Project Management & Marketing Operations Lead to support a leading enterprise organization in the banking and financial services space. This consultant will work directly within the client’s marketing organization, supporting the execution, operational workflow, and delivery of complex marketing campaigns and portfolio-level messaging initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of project management, marketing operations, and campaign execution and can bring structure to fast-moving workstreams, coordinate across creative and business stakeholders, and ensure high-quality deliverables move efficiently from intake through launch.
Location: Remote within the U.S.
Duration: Approximately a 12-month consulting role through Blend with the possibility of extension (must be able to work on Blend’s W2 without sponsorship)

The Project Management & Marketing Operations Lead will serve as an executional leader across multiple marketing initiatives, helping increase team capacity, improve delivery speed, and drive consistency across campaign workflows.
This role will focus on day-to-day project execution, stakeholder coordination, process adherence, and operational excellence, while also contributing to messaging and creative execution efforts on smaller-scale initiatives. This is not a strategic ownership role, but it requires strong independent judgment, cross-functional influence, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
Lead end-to-end project management for tactical marketing initiatives, campaign executions, and smaller portfolio-level projects.
Build and manage project timelines, workback schedules, dependencies, approvals, and milestone tracking to ensure on-time delivery.
Manage multiple concurrent workstreams while balancing shifting priorities and business needs.
Identify execution risks, escalate blockers proactively, and drive issue resolution to maintain delivery quality and speed.
Utilize workflow and asset management tools (such as Aprimo or similar platforms) to manage project intake, routing, approvals, and asset submissions.
Ensure adherence to established governance, campaign workflows, and operational standards.
Maintain project documentation, trackers, meeting notes, and status updates to ensure stakeholder visibility and accountability.
Partner with internal marketing stakeholders, creative teams, agency partners, and external vendors to coordinate deliverables and approvals.
Facilitate clear handoffs between business, creative, legal, compliance, and production teams.
Support portfolio-level messaging initiatives and campaign execution efforts across multiple business priorities.
Contribute to messaging refinement, creative execution planning, and campaign readiness for select initiatives.
Support adaptation of campaign assets and messaging across channels while ensuring consistency with brand and compliance requirements.
Help pilot and improve operational processes related to campaign delivery and creative production.
Provide regular status updates, timeline communication, and issue tracking across stakeholders.
Manage expectations and ensure alignment in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
Support leadership reporting and operational reviews as needed.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in project management, marketing operations, campaign execution, account management, or related disciplines.
Proven experience managing projects end-to-end in marketing, creative, or campaign-driven environments.
Experience supporting enterprise organizations within financial services, banking, insurance, or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
Strong project management capabilities with expertise in timelines, workflows, approvals, and stakeholder communication.
Experience with marketing workflow and asset management platforms such as Aprimo, or similar tools.
Understanding of creative production workflows, campaign lifecycle management, and cross-channel marketing execution.
Familiarity with compliance-driven marketing environments and approval processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable influencing others without direct authority in matrixed organizations.
Able to ramp quickly, work independently, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The starting pay range for this role is $50.00 - $55.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
