Revenue Operations is responsible for driving financial success through creating, maintaining, and continually improving the operations, platforms, and intelligence that support our go-to-market teams. This team works cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Enterprise Technology, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the customer journey, from lead generation to revenue recognition. As a Product Manager, GTM Systems, you will manage the platform as a product, partnering with stakeholders to understand internal customer needs, prioritize features, and ensure the delivery of innovative solutions. Using your understanding of business processes, enterprise tools, automation, and integrated systems, you will maintain a roadmap of enhancements that drive measurable business outcomes.
As the Product Manager, Marketing Automation Platform, you will take a leadership role in defining and evolving our marketing automation capability. You will work closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Enterprise Engineering stakeholders, including executives, to assess business needs, shape platform vision, and drive execution. Utilizing your expertise in marketing workflows, marketing automation technologies, enterprise platforms, automation, and integrated systems (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, enterprise data sources), you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver transformative solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability. Your ability to influence, innovate, and execute will be critical to ensuring the success of our marketing operations.
Customer Understanding: Deeply understand your internal customers’ (primarily, PitchBook marketing teams’ and team members’) needs and ensure the marketing automation platform roadmap is focused on driving the most critical and impactful work for those teams. Deeply understand the needs, pain points, and workflows of internal customers to drive operational efficiency and improved business outcomes. Marketing Platform as a Product: Own and prioritize the roadmap for the marketing automation platform, ensuring it delivers value and aligns with compliance requirements.
Functional Specifications: Develop detailed functional specifications for tool, code/low code, workflow, and data changes to the Marketing Automation Platform.
Product Requirement Documentation: Write and maintain clear, concise, and detailed product requirement documentation (PRD) to guide development and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs.
Operational Expertise: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for scalability and efficiency.
Technology Alignment: Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to meet Marketing needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between Revenue Operations, IT, and Engineering to drive platform improvements.
Industry Trends: Stay current with marketing technologies, digital trends, and best practices to enhance the platform's capabilities.
5+ years of experience in product management, business process improvement, or a related field
Familiarity with marketing automation tools, such as Marketo, Salesforce, Qualified, Inflection.io, and Rollworks
Experience applying product management methodology: discovery, customer interviews, establishing customer-centric requirements, and writing functional design documentation
Familiarity with data integration, APIs, and enterprise systems architecture
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on measurable outcomes
Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (RevOps, Engineering, Finance, GTM leaders) to deliver innovative solutions
Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation
Annual base salary: $130,000-$160,000
Target annual bonus percentage: 10%

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
