Skysun is a fast-growing residential solar installation company operating across the United States. As we scale, technology is becoming central to how our sales, operations, and field teams collaborate.
We are building our core systems from the ground up using modern cloud technologies, CRM platforms, and custom integrations. To support this growth, we are looking for a Lead Business Systems Analyst who can bridge business needs and engineering execution with clarity and discipline. This role is critical to Skysun’s success.
You will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the engineering team. Your responsibility is to translate evolving business requirements into clear, technically grounded specifications while maintaining system integrity, engineering focus, and delivery velocity.
You will work closely with engineers on a day-to-day basis and collaborate with leadership teams in the US.
Work with business stakeholders to understand goals, constraints, and priorities
Challenge vague or rapidly changing requirements to identify root problems
Convert business needs into structured, technically informed requirements
Map end-to-end workflows across CRM, middleware, and web applications
Identify downstream impacts of changes on data, integrations, and users
Highlight technical trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and sequencing implications
Break down initiatives into clear, actionable requirements for engineers
Define scope boundaries and actively prevent scope creep
Support engineering teams with clarifications, acceptance criteria, and context
Help leadership understand the technical cost and complexity of changes
Support prioritization decisions based on effort vs business impact
Maintain alignment between fast-moving business needs and system stability
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Analyst
Strong experience working closely with engineering teams on software products
Good understanding of APIs, integrations, data models, and system workflows (conceptual)
Ability to reason about technical impact without being a developer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in fast-changing and ambiguous environments
Experience with CRM / ERP platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, etc.)
Exposure to cloud-based or serverless architectures
Experience in operations-heavy domains (solar, field services, logistics, fintech)
Experience working with international stakeholders
Engineers are rarely blocked by unclear requirements
