This is an exceptional opportunity to join a scaling tech company at an inflection point โ working with a senior commercial team and gaining hands-on exposure to the full outbound growth stack.
Please note: This is a three month paid internship (June-September)
The Role As our Growth Hacking Intern you will sit inside Sales & Marketing Operations and own the end- to-end mechanics of our outbound prospecting engine. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and the Marketing lead to identify the right target personas, build and enrich prospect lists, and configure the automated sequences that deliver a consistent pipeline of Market Qualified Leads (MQLs) into the top of the funnel.
This is a high-impact, highly autonomous role. You will be expected to be curious, move fast, experiment, learn and iterate โ with full support from the team around you.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Lead Generation & Pipeline Building
Design and manage outbound prospecting workflows targeting 500 โ 1,000 new leads per week into the outreach system
Use Clay to build, enrich and segment prospect lists from multiple data sources (LinkedIn, Apollo, Crunchbase, custom scrapers)
Maintain and improve data hygiene standards across the CRM to ensure lead quality and accurate reporting
Sales & Marketing Tool Management
Configure multi-step outbound sequences in Instantly, including A/B testing of subject lines, messaging and timing
Manage HubSpot workflows, contact records, deal stages and reporting dashboards in collaboration with the sales team
Integrate Clay โ Instantly โ HubSpot pipelines and troubleshoot any workflow issues AI-Powered Account Research & Personalisation
Use Claude (and other AI tools) to perform rapid account and persona research, ensuring outbound messages are highly relevant and well-scoped
Develop reusable AI prompt frameworks that accelerate personalisation at scale
Stay up to date with the digital identity, IAM and fintech landscape to inform targeting and messaging
Reporting & Optimisation
Build and maintain weekly performance dashboards tracking open rates, reply rates, MQL conversion and pipeline contribution
Run structured experiments (copy, timing, segment, channel) and present findings to the commercial team with actionable recommendations
Help define and refine the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) as data accumulates
What Weยดre Looking For
Essential
Currently enrolled on a Business Management, Marketing, Economics or related degree โ 3rd-year undergraduate or 1st / 2nd-year postgraduate
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) โ you will be communicating with prospects and internal stakeholders in both languages
Solid understanding of how a B2B sales funnel works: from ICP definition through to opportunity creation
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data (Excel / Google Sheets) โ you can clean a list, write a VLOOKUP and build a pivot table without hesitation
Curious and enthusiastic about AI tools; has used Claude, ChatGPT or similar tools for research, writing or analysis
Strong written communication skills โ you can craft a crisp, professional cold email and spot when copy isn't landing
Highly organised, self-directed and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
Nice to Have
Prior exposure to HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo or any marketing automation / CRM platform
Familiarity with Clay or similar data enrichment tools
Experience running email sequences or LinkedIn outreach campaigns (personal projects count)
Knowledge of the identity verification, fraud prevention, fintech or cybersecurity sectors
Basic familiarity with APIs, Zapier / Make, or no-code automation tools
