PIC, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Value Enablement Manager (Hybrid) to enhance portfolio value delivery and operational effectiveness across the organization.
This role ensures PIC realizes measurable value from its technology and process investments by owning the business side of the project lifecycle—from identifying opportunities through measuring outcomes. The ideal candidate bridges business strategy and IT delivery, ensuring the right work gets prioritized, the business is prepared for change, and delivered solutions are adopted and deliver results.
It operates at the intersection of business operations and IT delivery, requiring credibility and influence across both.
The successful candidate thrives in a global environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and can drive outcomes across functions without direct authority; and it can work in a culturally diverse, fast-paced environment and can work collaboratively across functional teams. The candidate is an excellent communicator with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences and can influence outcomes across functions without direct authority. You will possess strong analytical capability, data fluency, ROI analysis, and structured problem-solving.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in office) based in Hendersonville, TN, with up to 10% of travel, depending on the business needs. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000 USD per year. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Proactively identify where technology can unlock business value by engaging with functional and regional leaders to understand pain points, opportunities, and strategic priorities.
Partner with business sponsors to translate problems into clearly scoped initiatives with defined outcomes and measurable ROI.
Maintain the portfolio view and recommend prioritization to leadership based on value, feasibility, and IT capacity.
Own integrated project governance for larger and more complex initiatives, tracking progress across both business and IT workstreams.
Translate IT sprint and planning increment progress into portfolio-level status for leadership.
Develop and oversee business readiness plans including change impact assessment, communication, training, and process redesign.
Gate go-live decisions on business readiness, ensuring the organization is prepared to adopt and use what IT delivers.
Define success metrics upfront, track adoption post-go-live, and measure outcomes.
Facilitate decisions when trade-offs arise and coach sponsors who need support.
Serve as the translation layer between IT's Agile delivery model and business planning cycles.
Willingness to travel approximately 10%.
A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
A minimum of 6 years of experience managing cross-functional projects from scoping through delivery, including:
Agile delivery models and how to interface with sprint-based IT teams
Change management or organizational readiness
Experience in operationally complex industries such as agriculture or manufacturing.
Familiarity with ERP/CRM environments (Dynamics 365 or similar).
Background partnering with IT shared services organizations.
