Senior Salesforce Business Analyst

Role Overview

Forget the traditional "Sales CRM" mindset. In this role, you will join a specialized team managing a dedicated Salesforce instance focused on Energy Management and Trading. Unlike standard sales-driven environments, this platform is a mission-critical tool for high-stakes business workflows, where the focus shifts from high-volume lead management to high-value risk, compliance, and governance.

As a member of a 5-person expert team, you will act as a Functional Super-Administrator. You will be the bridge between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that Salesforce effectively supports the strategic operations of our Energy Trading unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Process Translation: Translate non-standard business processes—such as counterparty onboarding, KYC (Know Your Customer), and rating assessments—into robust Salesforce solutions.

  • Functional Configuration: Hands-on configuration of business rules, advanced automations (Flows), and custom screens to guide users through complex workflows.

  • Risk & Compliance Logic: Implement and manage conditional workflows triggered by specific risk or compliance levels, ensuring the system acts as a safeguard for the business.

  • Requirements Challenging: Act as a consultant to the business; analyze and challenge requirements to ensure they are consistent, secure, and aligned with regulatory constraints.

  • Strategic Support: Provide expert-level functional support and act as the go-to Salesforce authority for the Energy Management business units.

The Challenges We Solve

  • Niche Environment: Managing interactions with major market players where the volume is low, but the complexity and financial risks are significant.

  • Repurposed Platform: Using Salesforce not for sales, but as a specialized engine for regulatory governance and operational workflows.

  • High Impact: Working at the intersection of Risk, Information Systems, and Energy Trading, where system integrity is paramount.

Candidate Profile

  • Salesforce Expertise: Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Senior Administrator. Experience with complex, non-standard implementations is highly valued.

  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to understand and document intricate business rules and translate them into technical logic.

  • Risk-Oriented Mindset: Familiarity with KYC, compliance, or financial risk processes is a significant advantage.

  • Communication & Influence: Excellent stakeholders management skills; ability to navigate a structured, demanding environment and influence business decisions.

  • Technical Curiosity: A BA who enjoys "getting under the hood"—comfortable with functional configuration and occasionally building specific UI components.

Why Join This Team?

This is a unique opportunity to move beyond "classic" use cases. You will work on high-value-added topics in a complex and demanding environment. You will have a cross-functional perspective, close ties with strategic business units, and a direct impact on the critical processes of a global group.
