Department Overview The Area Business Promotion Department leads the creation of customer touchpoints and business growth through real-world channels, with a core focus on the operation of Rakuten Mobile shops nationwide. Each store serves as a vital "front line of customer engagement," playing a significant role in supporting the brand experience by providing cross-sectional access to Rakuten Group services, including telecommunications, finance, and e-commerce.

- Optimization of Store Operations: Achieve efficient and smooth store operations by centrally managing and improving tasks related to store management.
- Promotion of Company-wide Strategy: Drive cross-departmental and store-wide projects with a company-wide perspective, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals.
- Maximization of Customer Experience Value: Enhance customer satisfaction through operations, promotional tools, and event planning based on a customer-centric perspective.

Position: Why We Hire
With the expansion of the Rakuten Mobile shop business, there is an increasing need to strengthen headquarters functions that stably and efficiently support nationwide store operations. As each store is a critical customer touchpoint providing diverse Rakuten Group services, we must further strengthen the development and standardization of operational processes, drive cross-departmental initiatives, and conduct improvement activities based on KPIs. In line with our business expansion, we are looking for a professional who can understand both the field and headquarters perspectives to promote the development of operational foundations and the execution of initiatives.
In this position, you will contribute to the improvement of operational quality and business growth by designing operations, improving processes, and promoting cross-departmental initiatives that support Rakuten Mobile shop operations.
- Develop sales mechanisms, from the design of business processes to their standardization.
- Provide cross-departmental operational support and manage the progress of initiatives.
- Drive projects and planning while engaging stakeholders.
- Support inter-departmental collaboration for sales strategy execution based on the monitoring and reporting of various KPIs.
Operations Management Group: 8 employees (1 Manager, 7 Members)
- Professional experience in business improvement, business planning, sales planning, business promotion, or store operation support, with a track record of reviewing existing tasks, improving operations, and implementing standardization.
- Experience in driving initiatives and projects by coordinating with multiple departments and on-site staff, including issue organization, schedule management, progress tracking, and coordination.
- Practical experience in data aggregation and analysis using Excel, with the ability to organize data, identify issues, and create reports using functions and pivot tables.
- Experience in creating internal proposal materials, reports, and business flow documentation using PowerPoint.
- Experience in analyzing current conditions based on figures such as sales and KPIs, and examining or supporting the execution of improvement actions.
- Experience in driving business as a hands-on professional in a corporate environment, successfully engaging relevant stakeholders. - TOEIC score of 600 or higher
- Experience in executing cross-departmental tasks in areas such as business promotion or sales planning.
- Experience as a Project Manager (PM) in managing progress, facilitating meetings, and coordinating between stakeholders in cross-organizational projects.
Additional Information on Transfer There is a possibility of domestic and international business trips and relocations.
