As a CPQ Developer Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving the development and continuous improvement of Tacton CPQ product models while leading a team of skilled local developers. This position combines both technical expertise and team coordination, offering the opportunity to shape configuration solutions that enhance sales efficiency and customer experience.
You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of CPQ model development — from planning and prioritization to testing, deployment, and user support — ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. Acting as a bridge between the technical team, product owners, and other stakeholders, you’ll guide your team in adopting best practices, Agile methodologies, and consistent configuration standards.

What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Team Lead: Lead and support a team of Local CPQ Developers to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.
Product Model Development Oversight: Oversee the creation, modification, and maintenance of product models within the product configurator (Tacton CPQ).
Planning & Prioritization: Plan and prioritize development tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Testing & Deployment: Participate in and guide the testing, debugging, and deployment of product models to production environments.
Support & Issue Resolution: Manage user tickets and bug reports, analyze root causes, and coordinate fixes within local team, track the issue until resolution is implemented.
Agile Delivery: Foster continuous improvement through Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Administrators, and other teams to define requirements and propose platform enhancements.
Standards & Governance: Provide direction to developers on configuration standards, performance optimization, and user support processes.
Documentation & Training: Contribute to documentation in confluence, knowledge sharing, and training initiatives within the CPQ team and broader organization.
You have:
A Certificate of Higher Education in IT or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in software development with Tacton CPQ or similar, including at least 2 years in a team coordinator role
Proven experience working on agile environments
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, both verbal and written.
A solid understanding of product configurators, selectors, or guided selling solutions.
