The Senior Manager, CRM & Marketing Operations is a regional APAC role and sits at the intersection of technology, and data. This technical lead role is responsible for leading SEEK's Marketing Technology capability as part of Customer Engagement team within marketing function, with a focus on the platforms, processes, and people.
You will translate business objectives into scalable martech solutions and drive the vision for how SEEK leverages its engagement platform — including AI-powered tooling — to deliver smarter, faster, and more personalised marketing outcomes. You will lead a high-performing team, manage complex cross-functional stakeholder relationships, and act as the internal champion for marketing technology best practice across the organisation.

Strategic Leadership & Martech Evangelism You will set the strategic direction for SEEK's marketing technology ecosystem, advocating for the adoption and optimisation of martech tools across the broader Marketing function. You will define the long-term platform vision with Customer technology to build a compelling roadmap
Roadmap & Governance You will translate Customer Engagement team’s objectives and country teams local ambitions into scalable martech solutions, establishing the governance frameworks, standards, and processes needed to manage platforms responsibly and effectively. You will own the prioritisation of the operations roadmap, balancing competing demands with clarity and rigour, and ensuring initiatives are sequenced to maximise value delivery.
People Leadership & Team Development You will lead, coach, and mentor a team of marketing technology professionals, creating an environment where people can do their best work. You will set clear goals, support career development, build team capability, and foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration You will work closely with stakeholders across Technology, Data, Product, and Analytics to drive alignment and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered with the right technical foundations. You will be a trusted partner who bridges the gap between marketing ambition and technical execution.
AI Integration & Innovation You will champion the use of AI within marketing workflows, identifying opportunities to integrate intelligent tooling into campaign operations, personalisation, and decision-making processes. You will drive efficiencies and improved ways of working by embedding AI-driven capabilities into the engagement platform strategy.
Senior Stakeholder Management You will manage senior relationships across Marketing, Customer Technology, Analytics, and Product and will be communicating complex technical concepts with clarity to influence roadmaps of other teams with an aim to drive marketing and wider organisation outcomes
The APAC Customer Engagement team currently has 14 members across three core functions: Customer Engagement, Platform Operations and Planning. This position leads the platform operations team.
Proven experience with minimum of 5 years in a senior martech, marketing operations role within a matrixed, data-driven organisation.
Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing technical teams, with experience managing geographically dispersed teams of meaningful size.
Deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and hands-on experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM and third-party partners; working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Next, or Braze is preferred
Strong understanding of API-driven integration patterns, data activation, and platforms like AWS Athena and Databricks
A track record of delivering martech strategy that drives measurable business impact.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
A growth mindset and genuine enthusiasm for AI, automation, and the future of marketing technology.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills – able to clearly articulate strategy, trade offs, performance results and next steps to both technical and non technical audiences.
Strong problem solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, structure complex topics and deliver outcomes at pace
