Are you excited about seeing how a fast-scaling climate tech company's leadership actually makes decisions — from the inside? This role doesn't exist yet at suena — you'd be the first. Join suena energy as our first Intern – Strategy & Operations (f/m/x) and work directly with our CCO and Executive Office on the projects that matter most: from board reporting to market expansion, from KPI dashboards to ad-hoc strategy questions. No two weeks look the same.

suena energy is a green tech startup specializing in algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewables. Our vision: a world where clean energy is used reliably, economically, and intelligently - and where we actively accelerate the energy transition by enabling batteries and renewables to power our grids. With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the value and market participation of large-scale energy storage and renewable assets in short-term electricity and balancing markets - while minimizing risk for operators.

We're a 50+ person team that's fast-paced by nature, but the kind of place where people actually look out for each other. Following our successful Series A, we're investing in expanding our team – and as our leadership team takes on more and more strategic projects at once, we're excited to bring someone on board who can dive straight into the mix with us.

Your mission

• Support Daniel, our CCO, on revenue operations, sales insights and board reporting – KPI tracking, pipeline reviews, board-ready materials.

• Own workstreams inside cross-functional projects – board meetings, org development, market expansion – from idea to execution.

• Build the dashboards, reports and briefing materials that shape C-suite decisions, turning market data and KPIs into clear recommendations.

• Jump into ad-hoc analyses – market sizing, competitive landscape, financial scenarios – whenever a fast-moving question needs answering.

Your profile

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's (business, economics, engineering, or similar) – ideally with a previous internship or working student role already under your belt, so you hit the ground running.

• Comfortable in the fog – suena moves fast, and most answers live in someone's head, not a doc. You'd rather ask the right person than wait for a briefing.

• Comfortable with data – Excel and PowerPoint as a baseline, Claude/ChatGPT and Notion a plus.

• Strong written and spoken English – German is a bonus, not a requirement.

• Genuine interest in energy markets, startups, or climate tech.
